Great for river and creeks! I'm a 7 1/2 and got a 7 it was perfect they already feel chunky so an 8 would have looked too big.

I wanted a comfortable sandal I could wear at and on the beach that would let the sand out as I walked to the ocean, along the ocean, etc. It also had to be supportive (re-occurring plantar fasciitus) and comfortable enough to go for 4 - 8 miles. As a comparison I have keens that work very well but he sand gets caught in them and eventually my Achilles tendon gets rubbed after a few miles. The Hurricane Drift are also made out of a sort rubbery material making it super easy to wash. So for those purposes and wearing casually around the house, shopping, etc they are fine. I would not wear them rock climbing of for more strenuous activity and they are not my normal "take a walk" shoes. They are exactly what I wanted and needed for the beach.

These sandals are lightweight but heavy duty. They are a soft material and don't cause blisters. They are comfortable and provide great arch support, especially since I have flat feet. I love them so much I have them in five colors. The only downside is a lack of front adjustable strap, but I have wide feet so it fits comfortably with the predetermined size.

I wear them working in the yard easy to clean... very comfortable!

We took these to Newfoundland for an eight day backpacking trip. Everything mattered in terms of the weight we carried in our packs. These were very light weight and excellent when we had to cross rivers. The upper strap held the sandals on well and they were dry immediately so no extra weight. I'm wearing them at home now, very comfortable.

Soo I actually bought these sandals for my boyfriend and people, including him, seemed to really like them based on how funky they are! I will probably end up buying myself the same pair, but I already have two pairs of Tevas...which I love! I recommend these sandals for casual wear since they are bright white, but I'm sure you could go on an immediate hike in them!

These shoes are unbelievably comfortable. Once you put them on you are hooked. They are also very durable and great for the outdoors.

Use them everyday. Feels great! Have more than one pair!
