I will probably wear them to work (teaching 3rd graders) & for knocking around when I don't care what my feet look like

i love these sandals! the only down side is they started to squeak after wearing about a week. they have a nice cushion when walking long distances . but the squeaking can get irritating.

I am huge fan of Teva Tirra's and buy a new pair each year. These are very comfortable like the Tirra's but they are quite a lot wider and appear longer (although they aren't really longer, I measured--but the way my feet fit in them made them look long). The straps allow for a pretty good fit (my fairly narrow heel moved around a bit) but the design of the sandal is such that there is considerable sole out to sides of the straps (note view of shoe from above). This might be good for outdoor use if you want to protect your feet, but it makes the sandal fairly unattractive. I'm returning them for a new pair of Tirra's or might try another style that is rugged but a bit more feminine-looking.

The straps are complicated to adjust. Also the big snap buckle is too big around my ankle.

I wanted to like these shoes so much, because I'm an avid Teva supporter. Yet they were so wide! I have super narrow feet and a narrow heel that make shopping for shoes a nightmare. It would be nice to have a narrow option for those of us who are stuck with weird feet.

Design needs to be upgraded . To wide and to big looking
