These shoes fit perfectly but are just a bit stiffer than other Rieker and other brand shoes I have -- because of that, it wasn't quite the instant "ahhhh" where I know immediately that the shoe is right. But I decided to keep them and wore them running around town all evening (for casual activities, obviously), and I liked them more and more. I love the style except I think I'd prefer them without the fake zipper that doesn't actually zip (there is a zipper on the inside that does zip). Also love the rich burgundy color.

I love these as my between Fall and Winter boot. They're sturdy, uniquely stylish, warm and keep my feet dry.

I love the design of these booties, but they are very wide at the toe box. Wish I could have kept them. They appear to be well made. Great for the right person

Sized up half size as my previous experience with Rieker remonte is they run slightly small. Thus this pair was the perfect size! I think these are very well made, lightweight and unusual looking in a good way. Very comfortable boots, I look forward to wearing them this fall and winter!

Excellent comfort

buy a 1/2 size smaller then whatyou normally wear. They are roomy so not good for narrow feet. They are styoand well made. I love them

Very comfortable and sporty. Riker is one of my favorite brands. Leather very soft and love that you tie once and use zipper to get in and out.

I thought the boot was very nice looking but I had to pull the laces really tight to enclose my slightly narrow foot. But the problem was that I was actually fitting in the boot narrowed, it hurt my foot to walk in it. There was no cushion in the sole of the foot. I really wanted to love it but it was just not comfortable enough.

I just received these boots and totally love them already. The fit is perfect 38 and you can tighten them with the shoes laces but zip them to slip them on and off. First I wore them around inside my home in light weight socks and found them to be a tad loose. I switched to mid weight socks and that is what made the fit perfect. They are like walking barefoot with ankle support. I wore them all day today and they always felt very nice. BY the way, the outside zipper is only partially up and is for decorative purpose only, but very cute. The red is more burgundy and the black accents are a very nice touch. They dress up my black leggings. My arches fell a few years ago and finding shoes that fit comfortably is almost a miracle. Expensive Yes, but fun and sassy. I received many compliment today and how cute they are. FYI: I'm an active, healthy 62 year old and think most people may think only young women would like these but that is not the case for me. I live in Alaska and will be wearing these often.

I would have keep these shoes as I found the style cute and I like the maroon color. The soles are thin for my feet and there is barely any arch support. I switched to my orthotic insoles but there was just not enough room for comfort.

I am a size 38 in allll my other shoes but the Thetkla 91's had my toe just touching the end of the shoe, so I went with the 39. They are wide and the insole is lacking. I bought some insoles and stacked them on top of the ones that came with the shoes and that made them more comfortable and helped my narrow foot fit better. Love the style, although I could do without the half-zipped non-functioning zipper.

I LOVE the shoes for the most part. they're really comfortable, and good looking and quality. Wish the arch support was a little more, but it's still comfy. The issue I have is that they arrived scuffed on the toe, which makes me question if these were a return and then shipped out to me. For the price I paid, they ought to have arrived in perfect condition. It's enough to bug me, but not enough to send them back.. because I'm so excited to have them, I don't want to wait for another pair.

Overall the fit was acceptable after I placed thick wool insoles inside. I wear size 38.5 and ordered size 40 as recommended. I walked in the boots for several hours at home with socks on and my feet felt comfortable. The color looked attractive, rich burgundy with some black in the front. I could zip and unzip the boots without any effort. However, the combination of an extended lacing with two zips on each boot - one functional, the other decorative - seemed too much to me: visually, lacing made my feet in the boots appear longer than I am used to, disproportionate to my height (I am 5.3). Still, I could not figure out what part of the boot was natural leather, and what was man made. The nuance that eventually turned critical in my decision to send the boots back was a repulsive smell I felt from the inside of the boots after I took them off. My socks and feet were clean, though. The culprit seems to be the glue - the smell was obviously chemical in nature - used for attaching the inside lining material to the outside material. I left the boots to air out for the night. The next morning the smell was much less aggressive, but I still could feel it. That was unacceptable. Besides, I was not confident that the boots will keep their shape well. Zappos service was impeccable, as always.

Loved the boot except for the fake zipper which I thought was weird and the only reason I returned them. If Reiker would remove it or allow it to zip I would buy again.

I did not like the fact that one side zipper does not zip. I loved the boot, my favorite except for that. It looks weird

A very nice shoe style just didn't fit my foot correctly.
