I needed to add met guards to my standard steel toes for work. I was worried I would sacrifice comfort but these shoes are way more comfortable than my steel toes. I do a lot of walking as a project manager on large plant startups and these shoes are more comfortable and provide more arch support than my non-steel toe shoes. I have started wearing them everyday, even when I am in the office.

Often, safety shoes meeting the ANSI standards for toe and metatarsal protection are uncomfortable and feel heavy. The Men's Detroit XT Internal MET (Steel Toe) safety shoes I purchased from Keen are an exception - after my 12 hour shift, mostly on my feet, I still barely notice that they are on my feet.

This is my second pair of the Detroit Metatarsal (Size 8. 5 Wide). Ive always been a Keen shoe wearer, outside of work and at work (composite toe). When my job started requiring a metatarsal, I was relieved to see that Keen offered this type of shoe. I never thought that one Keen shoe (the metatarsal) would/could out-do another (the composite) in regards to comfort. There is something about the Metatarsal shoe that surpasses every other pair of Keens Ive ever owned. This shoe Is sleek considering its a Met, the design is hidden in the tongue of the shoe and not the clunky Met that weve been used to. Ive also noticed that this shoe even holds up longer and wears better than the standard Composite toe. Based on life of the shoe, I will probably order this Met as an everyday (outside of work) shoe. Yes, its THAT GOOD!

Seems like a great safety shoe

By far the worst boots I've had in a long time. Do not buy these if you're standing on concrete or hard surfaces for 7-10 hours a day. The boot itself just isn't comfortable at all and after 5 months, there are already multiple tears in the stitching and toe.

Very comfortable work shoes. Only concern is the outside was more of a suede texture instead of leather, and is getting scuffed up easier. I'm hoping they will be as durable as my other Keens that I've own

Stays comfortable all day at work and they last a long time but they are a little on the warm side but that is to be expected from a show with built in metatarsal guards. I am on my second pair of these shoes and will be ordering another soon. The only issue I have had is with the inner liner of the shoe and I will attach a photo to explain that.

These are my go to shoes for indoor hazardous locations. Its hard to find this kind of shoe that when worn daily will last more than a year. These do!

These shoes are very comfortable and look great. My only complaint (and its a minor one) is that they are a bit heavy. Would be great if it were offered with a composite safety toe.

These are the most breathable met guard shoes/boots on the market. Great flexibility and footbed. But the toe box is a bit narrow.

As always with every pair of Footwear I've had from Keen the fit is amazing and I'm sure there will be durable like all the other pairs I've owned
