I liked how this shoe looked...it was just what I was looking for...a sporty alternative to a sandal or flip flop. However they are TOO SHORT. But let me qualify this statement, because some people have said the length is fine and others have said it's too short. I'm a solid 8...and the 8.5 was even too short. I never have worn a 9 and if I sized up it would have been too wide and had heel slippage. The problem is the shape of the toe. Unlike most Keens which are roomy in the toe box AND have a rounded toe area, this one is different. It is wide in the toe box, but the shape of the toe is curved such that the big toe is the longest part and then the radius curves down toward the pinky toe. What this means is if you are someone whose 2nd toe is longer than the big toe, that toe touches the top of the shoe. If you don't have that, this shoe will probably work in your normal Keen size. I should also note that there is NO support at all, so don't expect the cushiness of a typical "comfort" shoe. It is kind of cardboard-like.

I ordered 3 brands of similar Mary Jane shoes. I have feet problems- bunyons, arthritis, a wide foot from foot surgery and I also use an insert for my arches.This was the winner.

These shoes are exactly what I was hoping for: barefoot-style, summery slip-ons with a flexible sole. They do not have a lot of cushion because they aren’t designed to. They don’t pinch anywhere right out of the box. Highly look forward to them as my primary teaching shoe when it is warm.

This is not my favorite Keen shoe - I have purchased several pairs in the past couple of years and the support/sizing has always been spot on. However, the arch in this style is not nearly as comfortable and the bottom sole is made from a weird hard rubber, which does not grip onto the ground where you are walking and I have skidded/slipped multiple times on damp/wet surfaces. It's like there is no tread on the bottom of the shoe and I'm glad I bought them on-sale or else I would have returned them.

Cute but meh. Returning. No support and the bottoms literally have zero tread- slippery in fact. Keen is awesome but these were a total fail.

I'm writing this review after wearing these shoes for about 6 months now, and still very happy with them, so much so that I'm planning to buy a second pair. I have a mild bunion on one foot, so was looking for a shoe that could accommodate a wider fore foot and narrower heel. I ordered many pairs of mary janes, and these were the winners. Note: this is more like a barefoot, zero drop shoe which was I was looking for. It is a cute shoe and much more comfortable than the Rothys that I ordered and returned (several times, trying to find a good size - they also have inconsistent sizing), Everlane flats, and Giesswein. Makes me think that knit shoes have an inherent size variation due to the nature and give of the knit material. I ordered this shoe twice and the first one was slightly off, smaller with a more slippery bottom. The second one was perfect. After doing some research, it looks like Keen has a couple of different factories, one in India and one in China. Perhaps the variations are due to that. If you know what you're looking for, this is a great option for a minimalist ballet flat kind of shoe which won't slip off. I wear them with thin toe socks, and also without.

I like the style and fit of this shoe, I had to add an insole with arch support, but other than that addition they are comfortable and fun to wear.

I am completely disappointed in Keen. They were my go-to shoe company. I could go walking straight outta the box, like they used my foot for the mold. Had all the right supports in all the right places. Now? Nope, what happened to the insole? Bring back the standard supportive insole not this flat crap!

Keen Hush Knit MJ CNX 10.5B: My true size is 10.5 narrow, but I thought the elastic would snug the shoe to my foot; it did not, the elastic was loose. However, the primary reason I am returning these is that they have no arch support (and the insole is not removable, so replacing it with Superfeet is not an option). The second reason I am returning them is that the colored part of the sole is slippery - so, it does not grip a smooth surface; when I tried walking in them on my hardwood floor, the front of my foot twisted to the side with each step.

I have 3 pairs of the CNX in leather so I was confident in the sizing of this shoe. However, this knit version runs small. Disappointed that I can’t seem to get the leather ones anymore.

Love keen but I always forget I need to go down half a size. Love these for everyday!

super comfy and cute, what more can you ask for!

Ordered my usual size 9 in Keen and fit is good. Stretchy uppers accommodate bunions. I put in a cheap arch support insole and that works very well with these. Very cute. Thinking of getting another color.

I'm keeping these, ordered the celadon/lily pad because black out of stock. I put my Pinnacle metatarsal arch support insole into the shoe and it feels OK because I have thin feet and the elastic straps are loose enough.on the instep. Because the upper is a mesh, there's not the support of a sneaker, but this is a nice softer, lightweight house shoe and for warmer months it should be OK.

This shoe has a short toe box so my big & second toe were constantly bumping the front. In the back, the shoe curves in weirdly and was constantly rubbing my heel. The sole has little to no traction. The shoe is super cute, it's a shame it misses the mark in comfort.

I liked the style of these shoes but I returned them because they are AT LEAST a full size too short (more like a size and a half), although I think the width is true to size. I normally wear a size 8W or 8-1/2 medium OR wide. Based on reviews I read, I ordered a size 9M in this shoe and the width was comfortable, as was the arch, but my toes were cramped against the end of the shoe (not just touching, but cramped). I will not be ordering a larger size because I feel like the arch will probably not fit correctly.

I have a Keen-shaped foot -- short, with narrow heel and spacious toe box -- so I thought these would be perfect for a trip to Greece. Unfortunately, size 6 is too large, and size 5.5 is too small -- decidedly NOT true to size! The search continues :( ...

These shoes are adorable, seemingly the perfect footwear with both capris and skirts for an autumn trip to Greece. Unfortunately, size 6 is too large, and 5.5 is too small. How could there be so much difference in only a half size?! Since they don't come in 5.75, I guess I'll be sending them back. The search goes on ...

It felt as if there was no insole . . . no cushion! Will be returning the shoes. I wanted to be able to keep them since they are so cute.

I have a narrow heel with a broader front foot, big toe the longest. It is very hard for me to find a shoe that doesn't squeeze my toes (which can leads to a bunion) and hurt. This pair of shoes is a wonderful , comfortable fit. Thank you, Keen, for continuing to create shoes that fit my foot. Those shoes with narrow toes look nice but eventually lead to foot problems.

I wore these for 4 miles and did develop blisters on the back of my heel, which was expected, as I wanted to break them in. My blistered healed and I have since worn them for 4 more miles, without getting new blisters! They are comfortable and slip on/off easily. I wanted to break in these shoes prior to my trip, which would require me to do a lot of sight seeing. They are light weight and perfect for travel!

Love the style! Although these are medium width, because they are made of a stretchy material, they fit my very wide feet. I need a lot of arch support, though, so I added inserts. Problem solved.

I like this shoes for summer, similar to a Mary Jane, slip on sneakers

These are a roomy 8.5. I wear an 8.5 in length, but in some shoes need to go up to a 9 if the toe box is too snug around my bunion. These are fine. Springy step with light arch support. Happy feet. Nothing rubbing so far with the shoes. A lightweight walking "activity" shoe that may be ok with casual slacks or dresses too. The only slight negative is the shoes feel a little warm on the feet for summer with the fabric lining, but not a deterrent.
