I've always been very comfortable with this shoe.

Most comfortable boot from Keen so far! They have become my everyday boot, great traction in snow, and mud. Waterproofing works well and they stand up to the test of field work!

I have wide feet, these are my 3rd or 4th pair over the years. They look good for casual dress w slacks. Mostly I wear them hiking and they check all the boxes. Wish Keen made the women's wide wider, I love the girlie colors but am thankful for Durands, good stuff!!!

These replaced an older, discontinued pair, and I used the chat feature to ask Keen to help me select the replacement. I've done about 30 miles in the last two weeks and can confirm they are waterproof and comfortable. It took one or two short hikes to get them properly on my feet, but they are now most excellent, just as I had hoped and expected. The size was true to my previous pair, and I was relieved, given some of the other postings. Unfortunately, one boot is a bit wonky in the tongue, and one of the lace hooks pulled out. I've just opened a ticket with Keen and look forward to seeing how that goes.

I wore out my first pair so I bought a second pair. These are great boots and the customer service is great too.

I sat down to write this review as I was slipping on my boots for some outdoor work. I realized I have had them for several years, and they are still a fantastic boot. I got them for moderate pack weight hiking and general work outdoors. I bought them specifically because they were made in the USA, but I LOVE them because they are comfortable, sturdy, and supportive without being stuffy. After several years of moderate use, they are functioning like new. No loose glue. No hardware malfunctions. Great sole support. They are well worth the money compared to competing boots.

Ive tried so many hiking boots over the years, but these top the charts! Comfortable, supportive, waterproof! I put them thru the test and walked thru several creeks, and they stayed dry!

i bought these 5 months ago from Scheels in WDM, i was excited about these shoes the fit great. I only where them on weekends and not everyweekend. well. the rubber that attaches to the leather started to pull apart and allowed water to get into the shoe. I returned it an to Scheels and they said the shoe only lasts for about 5 months. that should be everyday use, but again i only used on weekends maybe 2-3 weekends per months. very disappointeed that these shoes only lasted this long. I will not buy again and find something else.

I bought the Men's Durand II Waterproof Boot for work and within a couple weeks they started coming apart at the seam where my pinky toe presses against the side. I found this out when snow started seeping through to my socks. My only option was to exchange for the same kind of boot so I tried to go easier on the replacements to make them last but eventually they came apart at the exact same spot. Ive had other Keens in the past that were great so it was disappointing to have such a bad experience with these. For how much they charge youd think theyd make sure I got some boots that could actually hold up.

I have short but very wide feet and these boots fit like a glove. I work as a gardener and in my free time I do ecological restoration so I am on my feet a lot, and on all sorts of terrain These are really the only boots that have worked well for me over the past several years. I get at least an entire season out of them, which is more than with most other styles I have tried.

I don't tend to write a lot of reviews, but feel these boots deserve it! I Have had them from the originals, to now the Durand 2's. I wear them every work day, and some non work days. My current pair is over two years old, and still going strong. Break in is pretty much non-existent, they are good from day one. They do not get too hot, but every waterproof boot will heat up a bit.

This is my favorite Keen boot yet. Love them !

Great daily hiking boot, very well made. I hike in all types of weather, 8-12 miles per week in these and they are wearing well so far. They are very comfortable and waterproof which has been a bonus during a wet Spring & Summer.

Only problem is Color choice. Rather have gray or tan,

I needed a taller boot than my Targhees and our Assistant Scoutmaster had these boots and liked them and I decided to get these over a similar Lowa boot based on my good experience with Keen over the years. Many reviews mentioned the need to size up whereas others said true to size. My feet are very wide 4E but I have been very comfortable in Targhees. I contacted customer service and mentioned what I had already and asked about sizing up. They recommended sizing up if I wanted the same fit/feel of my old boots with seems to be true. I really love these boots and the extra support they provide for my ankles which helps me downhill on rocky steep trails. They are mostly leather except the tongue and they took about a week of casual wear plus one hike to feel totally broken in.. these are a quality boot I hope serves me as long as my old Targhees and feel very solid.

Love these shoes, they are super comfortable and look incredible! The only negative is they dont come with the anti-odor soles like my other Keens did and they got really stinky in a couple weeks! I had to steal the anti-odor soles from my other Keens to fix it.

Ive owned keen hikers previous models for years and loved them . I currently have a year old pair of keen American built steel toe work boots . 12 hours days in all weather conditions I love them very comfortable and tough . I should get another year out of them . . Unfortunately , These Durand II are not what I expected from keen They are stiff and very tight in the toe box . I have a size 12 and not generally considered wide but they fit all wrong and for the first time in a long time started giving me blisters . Sadly with a busy schedule I did not get them out hiking soon enough and missed the 30 day comfort exchange . I will always recommend American built Keen but be sure to take advantage of the 30 day trial .

Comfortable work shoes right out of the box, and true to size!

Over the decades I've worn just about every make of hiking boot and I can say hands-down that these are the best I've worn. They are slightly wider in the toe area, which is a huge plus, and they wear like iron. I've hiked in some rugged terrain in the last year and the boots are none the worse for the wear. Lately, buying USA built is a must for me and my family, and I buy USA whenever I can. You won't be disappointed with these boots.
