Love these boots. Very comfortable out of the box. The Army Green color is the bomb.

Let me start off by saying these boots are great looking and a good value, and should last a very long time. Not knowing how these boots might fit, and being I don't like returning things, I erred on the side of caution and ordered a 9.5D, should of ordered a 9, toe box has plenty of room. A comfortable work boot (Wolverine, Justin, Timberland, etc.) that you may wear for 12 hrs a day, you can get away with a 1/2 size larger because of all the padding they have, nice leather lining boots not so much. So my fix for my own stupidity was to insert a copper fit foot insole with arch support to take up some room, also good for the feet, and wear thicker socks, seems to do the trick. There is only one minor issue I have with these boots, that is the rubber ribbed heel and sole, if you need traction to sprint across frozen lakes or deal with wet marble, these boots are a solid 10 star, but if you like to kick around for daily use, be prepared to pull small pebbles out of the bottom of your boots, they lodge in-between the ribs in no time, I used a wire dog brush and the tip of a steak knife to dislodge them, be careful walking on nice wooden floors if this happens.

As the comments said, they run large, so I found that the 10 1/2 fit my size 11 feet. I also have high arch trouble fitting some ankle-high boots, but these were fine. My only concern is the durability and maintenance regimen for the crackled black leather I bought, hence the 4- vs 5-star rating.

interesting leather, looks rough, not a smooth leather, time will tell how it holds up. but very happy with this boot.
I normally wear a 12 wide, but the 12 D, fits perfect, they do run a half size large.

These are by far my favorite chukka boots from Florsheim. I'm disappointed that they may be discontinued. They are handsome, comfortable, and rugged enough for every day use. They are slightly oversized (about 1/2 size, slightly wider), though the black are not as wide as the burgundy pair I purchased last year. After a few days they loosened up, however, and are quite comfortable.

Great quality for the price. The waxed horween leather is a little thinner than more pricey brands, but gorgeous. The sole traos debris, but is grippy. Overall comfy and handsome pair of shoes.

Well made. Great quality. Little stiff/hard to break in. I needed to buy insoles, not much cushion.

Overall, I like the shoe, but after only a few times of wearing it one of the shoelaces broke. An easy fix, I know, but shoelaces should not be breaking on a relatively new shoe with normal use.

Ordered a half size down, size 10 and was too large so I had to return. Make sure you order a full size down. The toe box felt extra roomy, even with the correct size they might have been too big for me?,. The boots wear good quality but hard to judge longevity after only wearing once. My biggest complaint is the sole. The design has small diagonal ridges that everything gets stuck in.

The shoe/ boot design is great, the leather is very good quality. My problem was the weight of the shoe, for me, just too much extra to carry around.

I absolutely love the appearance and quality of the boots. However they run extremely large and unfortunately the next size down is out of stock. I read the reviews after I'd placed my order concerning the fit. Not so sure that they are not more than a half size too large.

Really nice shoe. However, the first time I ordered a size 12 and it was way too big. I returned it and ordered a size 11.5, which was way too tight, so I returned it. I friend of mine liked it and ordered a 12. I tried it on and it was perfect. I ordered another 12 and it was not much bigger than the 11.5 I previously ordered. There seems to be a quality issue and it's apparent why this shoe has been discontinued.

For this price, you expect made in USA. What good is Horween when the hardware, soles, stitching, and crafting are lesser quality? A premium price point for lower quality construction.
