I fell it is not stiff but is narrow?

Great style, comfy!

Wanted to wear these a few times before reviewing. Overall they’re not insanely comfortable yet but I do think they need to be broken in more-definitely way more comfortable now than the first wear. My most serious and probably only real complaint is the the front digs into my leg a lot since the opening is a bit narrow so I have to make sure my jeans are tucked in the front. I’m willing to live with it. They look amazing.

This is a beautiful looking piece of footwear but terribly executed. I shop Madison Ave monthly and know fine footwear. There is no excuse for a boot in this price range to be so stiff and painful. This is not a figure skating boot from 20 years ago that requires a break-in period entailing 10 or 15 blisters. This boot is supposed to be an example of exquisite craftsmanship including its comfort. Only an idiot would spend over $500 on a pair of shoes for the privilege of being in pain. Find a better grade of leather and learn how to cut a toe box. A shoe is meant to be worn and form without function is a deal breaker.

These looked great, but putting them on they were super stiff and uncomfortable. Perhaps the leather would ease in but I couldn't justify the price for the potential rubbing and unhappy feet. The color is much more brown than red, was hoping for a deep red.
