These were heavier than we wanted for a spring/summer shoe. They looked really cute and the color options were great, but they just seemed a little clunky and stiff for hot days in the south. We went with something a little more lightweight and flexible.

My son is a smallish size 10 and refuses to wear these because they are too tight.

Our kid has been wearing KEEN sandals similar to these for awhile now, so we were pretty shocked when he told us he did not like the way these felt on his foot. They seemed smaller or maybe just not cut the same way as his previous pairs, so we are returning them. Also, they have a plastic mechanism to tighten the laces on the top and he did NOT like it, even though it did not even touch his foot. We'll try another style and hopefully that'll be better.
