I was worried that with the Velcro that these would look like old-lady sandals. One of the down sides of getting older is needing sandals that have support. #sigh Well - these sandals are not old lady at all. They are beautiful and comfortable. I'm eager to wear them with wide-leg linen pants this summer.

I began wearing Orthoheel sandals about 6 years ago and love them. When they became Vionic the caliber of the material was downgraded in many styles so I have to be very careful about which styles I buy. Fortunately Zappos offers free shipping and return so the pair I had to return wasn't a financial loss. This style is true to form. Thanks, Zappos.

Fit very well because there are 3 adjustment Velcro straps. The footbed absorbs sweat and has excellent arch support. The straps are wide making them not as stylish but more comfortable.

I love these sandals. I like the Lizard so much better than the patent leather...if I didn't already have the patent in the blue, I would get the Lizard in blue too. I now have both black and fig and love'em both.

I wore these sandals the first time on a busy workday. I’m happy to say I had no plantar fasciitis pain at all! I didn’t even think of my feet the entire days. It’s been a long time since I have been pain free. I will definitely be buying these in other colors. The loop and hook closure makes adjusting these easy. Thank you Vionic! This shoe was cute and the wide fit my wide feet. However, it was uncomfortable on my feet. First, there was not enough arch support. Second, then top strap was narrow and sliced into my bunion. Ouch. I need the straps to be a little wider over my bunion or they hit it at the joint and that hurts. I will be returning these shoes.

I have worn Vionics for years and really want to like everything but they can't seem to make anything but wide shoes. I can usually get away with a sandal by tightening the velcro but the silver medallions down the center of these were tacky and put these firmly in the geriatric ward. I had hoped they would look better in person but they were worse. Back they go.

Stylish and comfortable. Fit is nice,no rubbing of toes at toebar! I purchased black and navy.

Love these! The best part is the three Velcro straps which makes them super adjustable for whatever height and width of your feet! Super cute and sturdy. I got the fig which works great as a neutral.

I really like these shoes and although I am a narrow width, with the adjustable velcro straps in three areas of the shoe, I can make them work. The footbed itself is on the wide side, but I think the great arch support should help to keep my narrow foot aligned and not sliding around too much. The styling is very cute and although the arch support is stiff, if you are used to orthotics at all, these won't be a problem. The silver medallions on the shoe definitely liven them up a bit. I think you could even wear them with a skirt or cute casual summer dress. I am typically an 8.5N or 9N, but actually needed the 8 in these because they do run quite long! A narrow width would have been ideal.

I have a very difficult time finding shoes or sandals that fit. I was excited to see Vionic offered a style in a wide option. I also want something pretty as I cannot wear heels anymore. This sandal comes in several color options,which I will be ordering more. Thank you Vionic! The sanded has excellent support, which if you are not used to wearing such an arch ( much like a Birkenstock), you will need to break in your feet slowly. They are an all day awesome fit and comfort. They are very pretty with the shiny metal disks, dressing the sandals up. Normally, all I wear is black and I wanted a softer color for dressing up. Hard to find, but the color of these sandals in nude, is perfect. It's a young looking sandal for an older lady. I love it! I hope Vionic will offer more selections in the wide width in the future! This is a beautiful sandal. I ordered the navy, and it will go with everything. I have worn the Vionic brand for several years, and I know that I must typically size down. I sized down 1/2 size to an 8 1/2 and the fit is perfect. Since the width is adjustable, it was also perfect for my narrow foot. And as always, the arch support is terrific for my high arch. Highly recommend.

I returned these because they ran so big. I am usually an 8.5 N or 9 N, but was an 8 in these in order to get the correct length. The main problem though is that they ran very wide too, and I need a narrow width. I had hoped these would work because often I can make adjustable shoes tight enough, but these just didn't work out. They are very cute and stylish though for shoes that offer such excellent arch support! If you aren't used to arch support, they might be very uncomfortable at first. However, if you are used to excellent support or typically wear orthotics, you will probably find these comfortable!

This is my second pair of the Farra sandals. This time I ordered “nude.” The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because the color has a pinkish cast that clashes with anything with a neutral brownish hue. That is disappointing.

Like other reviews I have read over the years, I too am slowly having to give up on the Vionic brand. After Vionic purchased Orthaheel they changed from from a philosophy of making a (built in) support shoe that addressed arch and pronation issues to making average shoes that no longer resemble the quality materials and foot mechanics of the original brand. I showed a few pairs of my original Orthaheel sandals (along with this shoe) to my podiatrist and he confirmed that it could not provide the proper support of the originals. The company claims they did not alter the original Orthaheel footbeds and shoe mechanics, but that is disingenuous at best... The only thing they haven’t tampered with so far is the Orthaheel shoe inserts. The “active” insert works pretty well in a sports shoe that has a removable pad so the insert can fit. The original tide sandal might be the same but it has been a while since I looked at a recent model. Glad I stocked up on the Orthaheel Tide sandal before they were gone.p as it has wonderful support! I stay fit and maintain an average to under-weight, but could feel my knees starting to hurt in this Farra sandal after a few steps. I wanted to like this shoe-and although there is a slight rise in the arch area, the shoe is so mushy and bendable, it does not offer the stability to keep the foot aligned properly. The shoe runs long which is nice if you are an 11.5-12, the 11 will fit. I could have almost gone with the 10. If you have little to no arch/pronation/stability issues this shoe will work well.

This shoe is really cute, but it is the first time I ordered an 8.5 wide sandal and found it to be too wide. Another sanda.l from Vionic had the same issue. Will return.

I wanted to like these and they were pretty cute, but they seem to run pretty wide and large so will be ordering down a 1/2 size to see if that helps.

Very awkward and uncomfortable. I tried them for about 3 hours and had to take them off. I tried this brand because my podiatrist suggested it. I’m staying with Clark’s.

I have realized that my feet deserve better than flip flops, even if I’m just at home and no one else sees my shoes. So, I chose the Vionic Farra Lizard, which I honestly did not expect to like, since it is very flat. Then I put them on. My feet immediately felt cradled and supported. You can adjust the fit at three different places, so each foot gets fitted individually! These have become my at home, all day shoes. And they are very cute. I like them so much that I bought a second pair, so I can alternate and let the shoes breathe and recover between wears. I am now a Vionic fan! I’m a long time Zappos fan, as well.

I own this in 3 colors. I am a 7 1/2 ww but because all of the Velcro you can customize your size. I wear These dancing and walking. Unlike clarks they r not cushy but my back likes these better. Highly recommend if you have back and knee issues like me. Your issues go away

Great looking sandal. Very adjustable with the multiple Velcro straps. Fits very well and if you need inserts for plantar fasciitis there is plenty of room and they are well hidden. Nice shoe!

As a plantar fasciitis sufferer, it's hard to find proper sandals with sufficient arch support. The podiatrist recommended Vionics, and I LOVE them. This style runs long and wider, so I am going down one full size and also trying narrow, even though I normally am a medium. I thought the blue would be a bit matronly (I'm 57), but it's darling, and I'll be wearing them to a destination wedding as it's a perfect balance between casual and dressy. The bone/tan is more appropriate for your white-haired granny.

Very cute shoes with good arch support. very comfortable. Vionic rules! I bought these in both the black and navy.

As always, vionic to the rescue. Get all my shoes here since my first flip flops in 2013 that still hold there shape. If I would change anything, it would be to bring back the buckle ankle strap --the velcro can be a bit fussy to pick up other dust, etc that leads to opening, etc after say, 3 years and walking everywhere. Not even a complaint but customer preference.
