What I liked about these boots when I ordered them was the higher ankle support. Seems like most boots nowadays are going for a "sleek" look and reducing the height that goes around the ankle, as well as the speed lace hooks. Guess I'm just old fashioned, because I really like the extra support and speed lace options. They fit big across the toe portion, my foot was moving in the shoe just walking in my house, and I want them for trail hiking. Too bad, they sure are pretty! But they go back!

I'm a street shoe 9 and usually size up to 10 for hiking shoes, but these 9s seemed roomy enough. They are comfortable as a sneaker and didn't resist or rub in any area, but not supportive enough for a hiking shoe. I can feel the ground under them and they flex quite easily. Also these shoes seem to make my arches fall, aka cause pronation. Even in flats that doesn't happen to me, so there's something about the shoe that pushes my foot in that direction. I might be the lack of arch support combined with pressure from the ankle that pronates the foot. Maybe better for people with flatter feet.

Really wanted to love this boot but it wasn’t supportive enough for my high arch. Also, I was looking for a boot with a more aggressive sole and this boot just wasn’t right for me. Super cute though!

I bought this boot because it was supposedly water proof. It even says Gortex on the side of the boot. It was waterproof for a few months and now it leaks every time I'm In wet conditions. Definetly would not recommend it as a waterproof boot. Otherwise, it fit well and was comfortable overall.
