I buy these shoes for my son every year since he was 2yrs old, he’s 6 now... do I need to say anymore?

I have to agree with other reviewers. I am very disappointed that Nike changed the material. My son has been wearing the Sunray adjust for years and he doesn't like this new material at all. I was lucky to find the old version on Amazon and I ordered that.

This is different from the sunray protect which run up to size 3. I purchased this for a 10.5year old boy that normally wears size 4. It was true to size and he liked texture inside. I like the material used for the smaller sunray sandals and wish the toes were covered. But it’s a decent water shoe.

My son wanted to love these. When shopping online together these were an easy first choice. However, he wore them two days before conceding they were just not a good shoe for anything, as the velcro at the back just kept releasing. He couldn't run in them and even just splashing around in sprinklers would make them come off. It was both shoes, too. Luckily we had also ordered Sunray Protect 2, which are working fine (though less stylish). Many thanks to Zappos for letting us return these as "defective" even after they were worn for 2 days.

What were they thinking when they made this? The sole has raised points that dig into the soles of your feet that after 4 hours left my feet bruised! Horrible! I don't think I have particularly sensitive soles of my feet either but I would not recommend purchasing these! I didn't have the energy to send them back, so I just chucked them.

These shoes rubbed the top of every toe. They were very uncomfortable.

I am very disappointed with this sandals, the bottom is very slippery, he fell.

The new design is awful. I’ve been buying these for my son for years as our tried and true summer sandal. They have made them more plastic and no longer the comfortable fabric. My son absolutely hates them. He wears them a short amount of time and cries that they hurt. Very disappointed they thought this hard stiff design would be a good change.

They are weird feeling like rubber. My boys hate them. They rub and make blisters and red spots. They won’t keep them on their feet.

Nike please bring back the old material. The new material is stiff and hard. Scrapped my son’s toes and the side of his ankle. I hope I can return. It’s hard trying to find an alternative since another popular shoe store closed recently.

My son wore these for two WEEKS before they broke. The velcro that attaches to the shoe for the back strap has already peeled off and he can longer use the strap on the shoe which makes them impossible to wear. I am extremely disappointed in the quality of the product for the price I paid. I would not recommend this model.
