I have just started trail running, and these shoes really help! I will be wearing them in my first Spartan Sprint race this weekend. My only reason for 4 stars is that the first pair Hoka sent me had a left shoe about 2 mm shorter than the right, which was just enough to rub my big toe and make them unusable. I returned these and tried another pair of the same size, and now they are perfect!

Love the shoe but it has a squeak when you walk.

I walk and hike in these shoes-anywhere from 3-9 miles at a time. I don't run. I got them because a friend who has aging feet said Hoka's were very cushy, so I tried them. The pain in my feet has mostly vanished. The only thing I don't love about them is that they don't seem as durable as some brands. I've worn holes in my last 2 pair. The bottoms seem pretty soft. It's worth it for the cushion and comfort for me.

All my other HOKA's are a size 5. I don't have wide feet but the Women's Speedgoat 3 Waterproof were so narrow it hurt to even try to squeeze my foot in. I had to purchase a 5.5. They are a little long but width is okay.

I'm still trying to get used to the shoe. If I wear it too long my knee aches. So I'm attempting to wear it daily but short distances to build up muscles that appear to be needed for this shoe compared to other shoes. I'm not sure this shoe is right for me at this time.

These shoes have a stiff feel to them. When wearing them on trails I have rolled off the side of the shoe a few times. This has never happened to me before. I'm now Leary if using them on tougher trails which is why I bought them. I had a pair of the hoka soeedgoat May d shoes prior to these and I would get those again before this shoe.

I thought I wanted waterproof but they were just too hot for me. They felt comfortable but just not for me.

I love the Hoka shoes , I am running with them for the past 2 years. I bought these because I thought it will be a good solution for the rainy days in ny. But after running with them twice I start having horrible pain, they are much harder than the usual shoes, I am not sure of it because they water replant material.

I love the comfort of the shoe, except for the toe area - - it narrows too much which causes rubbing on my big toes. Please broaden the width at the toe area so toes can more naturally splay.

too narrow, design of the sole seems awkward and causes me to roll back on my heels.

I had very high hopes for these especially with the price tag. Overall decent shoe. Waterproof held up, felt amazing putting on the first time. Cushion seemed to compact within first 4-5 wears and doesn't feel as plush as it did. I have a higher arch and there is just isn't quite enough arch support. It was ok first try on, but then seemed to condense and now isn't enough. Little stiff, overall good shoes, but you can tell they are waterproof by the feel, they are a little stiff and less cushy than the regular speedgoat. True to size. Good for regular to slightly wide feet.

I have exclusively used Hoka for years so I was pretty stunned with this shoe. I guess making it waterproof is a huge difference. The shoe is so heavy and clunky it sounds like I'm wearing high heels but that's not even the main issue. The issue is that it was truly painful at the top/middle part of my foot. I thought maybe I needed a few days to break them in but they're just painful. The waterproof material is too hard. I had to return them for the sake of my feet. I'll go back to my usual Hoka's. The waterproof ones need to be reevaluated.

I really wanted to like these since they are waterproof and seemed cushy. However I was surprised at how narrow the toe box fit given the clunky Frankenstein-ish design. Also the material attaching the tongue to the shoe was stiff and rough—in just the few minutes I had them on they left red marks where it rubbed. Will return and keep looking. Just ordered some allbirds so the hunt for a good waterproof travel shoe continues.

Very disappointed that after running thousands of miles in multiple pairs of multiple styles of HOKAS over the past 6 years (Stinson ATR 4, Stinson ATR 5, Bondi, etc.), the fit on the Speedgoat 3 WP is so strangely ... off. These shoes are a little shorter and much narrower than all the other HOKAS I've had. I don't think sizing up would solve the issue of narrowness in the forefoot without creating other fit problems in the heel. I would never have guessed these were from the same maker. The bottoms of the soles are at least a full inch narrower at the widest part of the forefoot on the Speedgoat 3 than my trusty Sinston ATR 5s. I had high hopes to keep wearing HOKAS through the winter while training for an ultra trail race, but given that these are HOKA's only waterproof trail running shoes, I will have to find another brand. I have been a dedicated HOKA user, but you've lost me. On a positive note, if none of the other HOKAS fit you, this might be the shoe for you! The grip is really tremendous, too.

I love my previous Hokas - and I had high hopes for these. Unfortunately where the tongue attaches causes a lot of friction and rubbing on the top of the foot.

I hoped with my thin foot the piece that irritates (mentioned by others) would not bother me. But it's a huge piece that stick inside the shoe and I certainly would not pay $100 for it. It hurts. I am willing to put up with how unattractive the shoe is simply because I need a shoe that does not flex at the sole. This is why I ordered it. But it is not wearable. See image

These were the most uncomfortable Hoda shoe. I had high hopes for them because I have the Bondi 6 and absolutely love them. These felt too small and were very stiff/rigid. I ended up returning them and bought a pair of waterproof Salomons.

I love Hoka as it is really comfortable. But, this one feels warm inside to run/walk and goes on nerve. Also, the design is a bit boyish and feels like box around foot.
