Fit was true to size with moderate arch support which is good as I use orthotics which work well with this shoe. These shoes are highly recommended by my orthopedic doctor and relieved the pain I was experiencing.
I'd also recommend:

I wear these all day on Saturdays and they are comfortable, supportive and responsive for everything from mopping the floor, walking the dog, playing racketball and cooking dinner for 12.

I've been working out and walking daily in these and they are by far the best active wear shoes I've ever worn. I have bad feet that end up hurting in most shoes, but these give the perfect support and I haven't felt any soreness. I'm a hoka convert for life!

I do an outdoor boot camp 6 days a week and I also run a few days a week. These shoes are great for both. I have an ankle issue and a hip problem and these are the best shoes for my issues. They have enough room in them for my heel inserts and my ankle brace. Very comfortable!

Ever since quarantine started I have searched for a shoe to give me support for my at-home cardio and strength training workouts. After trying out several other brands with no success, I finally found the Hoka One One Tivras. I have a narrow foot with a neutral arch (and a bunion on my right foot), and the Tivras fit me with glove-like comfort. The extra set of eyelets on the shoe enable me to lock my heel in to provide increased stability, which is a huge plus during my highly movement-oriented workouts (Step, HIIT). The Tivras are light but supportive shoes; making all the lateral moves, jumps, pivots and weight training less effortful than with other training shoes I tried. The cushioning felt uniform throughout the Tivra, providing overall comfort rather than targeting a particular part of the foot. I only wish Hoka One One would come out with some new colorways for the Tivra: they are now my go-to training shoe.

I wear these for Jazzercise. They have good lateral support and enough cushion to be supportive. The only downfall is that the back heal is sticks out a bit which can be tricky if you’re doing an exercise where you lift your toes up. They are noisy while walking, but since I’m exclusively wearing them for exercising to music that’s not an issue for me.

Old feet need good fitting fitness shoes. One foot is smaller than the other, one foot is wider than the other. These HOKA's accomodate orthotics and offer room for the funky sizes. PLUS THE SHOE LACES STAY TIED! Thank you Hoka.

Although the first well and were kind of cute I didn’t feel they had enough cushioning for my feet. Just walking around on the wood floor I was able to seal the wood floor and I jumped a few times and I said these will not work Just walking around on the wood floor I was able to seal the wood floor and I jumped a few times and I said these will not work They may be fine for walking and knocking around but not for exercising particularly aerobics and cross training so back They went

I bought these to do at-home fitness - calisthenics, light weightlifting - and they're perfect. Perfect for my foot which is not "technically" wide but most shoes are too narrow. Perfect amount of cushion for jumping jacks, jogging, and running in place. Enough stability to support lateral movements (squats, lunges, etc.). I usually end up wearing them all day. Probably should order another pair right now. *PERFECT SHOES*!

This is my first pair of Hokas, but they will certainly NOT be my last! I ordered a size 9 and the fit is perfect. I wear them for my 3 mile a day walk and my exercise class and they are very comfortable and supportive. They’re so light that I forget that I’m wearing anything on my feet. Great sneaker and I am now a Hoka lifelong fan and customer.

I bought this for my bootcamp workouts. We do minimal running for a lot of plyometrics, some jumping, weightlifting, lateral movements. I was worried they wouldn't provide enough support or kush for my bad feet and am very happy with them. I even use them for walking!

I noticed that many reviewers had stated that these run large-- I ended up ordering my normal size and they fit great! They are a bit longer/ roomier in the toe, but if you are wearing them for running/ extensive walking/ etc. you should always have extra room for when your feet swell during these types of activities. I ordered the grey and its a really nice change from my usual black.

I purchased the plum, and it’s a beautiful shade of Bordeaux. The shoes are extremely lightweight, with great cushion. My only minor complaint is that the sides are really high and cause me a little discomfort where the light pink trim rubs high on the ankle. But I’m hoping they will get better when broken in a little more. Overall beautiful and comfortable.

Seems to be a nice shoe. I have a broken foot so I have not worked out in them or worn the right shoe yet. They are comfortable, flexible and very stylish.

These shoes fit well and have good arch support. They are good shoes for gym activities. I noticed good side stabilization on these shoes vs. my walking shoes.

Preface: I wear custom orthotics so I cannot honestly speak to the built-in arch support. However, my custom orthotics work perfectly in these shoes. Nearly every cross training/gym shoe I've tried were too shallow for orthotics and lackEd cushioning. They were worthless, so I have worn running shoes which aren't necessarily suited for multidirectional movements. My issues are a history of a severe Achilles tendon strain on the right and "toe grabbing" to stabilize myself in shoes half a size too large for my right foot bought to accommodate my larger left foot. Needless to say, I've had considerable pain from chronic toe flexor tendinitis and Achilles tendonosis. Hupanas were better than other styles for workouts, but the Tivra is the best I've found so far. It has the cushion I need, accommodates my orthotics, and FINALLY I have adequate lateral support to hold my foot in place with side to side movements. That equals less toe grabbing or a sliding shoe and tendinitis. Thanks so much Hoka for developing a terrific training shoe with ample cushion (but not so much to throw off balance), excellent stabilization for lateral movements, and doing so in a neutral fit! I'm really pleased.

This is my second pair of Hoka’s after a running friend introduced me to them. They’ve been a great replacement for the Nike Lunar I used to wear. This pair is specially for a trip to Disneyland and a week long work event requiring tons of walking and standing. Love that they are super light for packing!
