Had to return the shoes as they were too tight in the forefoot and rubbed against the heel. I have never had to wear a wide shoe. I really wanted to like them as I liked the cushioning

The fit and size were fine and I love wearing hoka shoes they are super supportive as I work on my feet all day. Once and a while my left ankle bothers me from old sprain etc. but not when I where hokas. That being said this last pair I purchased at the end of June 2019. I just sent them back because the materials are already failing and I'm not trail running with them, just everyday kicking around shoes. A little disapointed with quality. same with my last pair that I purchased from another seller over a year ago.

Gave these a solid try...but they did not work for me. Too high through the arch, heel to toe drop too shallow.

I have hiked less than 30 miles in these shoes. They offer great support but they break down really quick. At the tip of the shoe all the rubber is peeling off and breaking apart from the shoe.

My 3rd pair of Hoka's which my bad feet really like. I bought these to use for golf and find them very comfortable, light and stable. However, I can't agree with the waterproof claim. After 2 holes in a light dew, my socks were wet. Would recommend for normal tail use, but not for my intended purpose.

Wear the shoes every day for work. Carrying kayaks' all day on various types of concrete. The shoe is extremely comfy but the soles are WAY TOO SOFT. I usually can get 6 months tread on most $150+ shoes. Looking to maybe get 3 months out of these. Keep the Vibram setup, find more durable Sole.

I was very excited when I first bought this pair of shoes. They felt great right out of the box and felt like no other shoe I had every tried on. This was my very first experience with any of Hoka's shoes. I was told in store that these would be great for trail running as well as running on pavement. The same day that I bought them, I went for a trial run on pavement. Big mistake... I came back from a measly 3 mile run with around HALF of the lateral heel lug height left, something I normally wouldn't expect to see on a shoe for at least 50 miles. It was very noticeable and I knew that the uneven wear would eventually cause a problem in my gait while running. I would love to see this shoe with more durable lugs that could hold up to pavement use as well. I took them back to Tradehome shoes where I bought them and was told they shouldn't have done this. Needless to say they swopped them out for me to a pair of Hoka Challenger ATR 5's. Hopefully I have a more positive experience with these.

I bought tbese for my husband to work in. He is in construction and on his feet all day and I thought these shoes would hold up to the work he does. After his 2 nd day they started to come apart. He said they were comfortable but that they won't last.

They were comfortable and everything fine except for the quality of construction especially around the toe are and water proof covering. Not even 2 months into wearing them those areas started falling apart, and I'm not even trail running with them. I'm just wearing them for day to day kicking around shoes. They are in the process of being returned to Zappos. Needless to say, I'm a little disappointed with the quality of construction, with this pair and also a previous Hoka that I returned to Hoka not zappos. Those got mysteriously lost in transit, so I was never reimbursed by Hoka.

I've been a long time user of the Hoka Bondi/Stinson ATR shoes - I absolutely love them. So when I was in the market for a neutral colored trail runner/hiker (something I could run in, but wouldn't look gaudy at the brewery afterwards), I was excited to find these! What a dissappointment when I first pulled them on. Toe box is *much* narrower than my stinson ATR's. No matter how much I tried to arrange the tongue to shoe gusset (for waterproofing), it dug into my feet and hurt immediately. Bummer as this is the only shoe with a neutralish color in the entire trail/road lineup (lots of electric orange/green/blue in all the other ones). I still love ya Hoka, but please turn down the color schemes...

The men's Speedgoat 2 was perfect, other than the fact it wears down very quickly and the mesh on top tears. But it was an attractive shoe in the black/kumquat color. The new Speedgoat 3 is not near as attractive design-wise, and honestly embarrassing to wear in public, to work, etc. What a disappointment. They had the right idea with making the shoe more durable and water proof. That's the pro. And adding more black was a good idea too. But the goofy bright gray tabs and accents are ridiculous. The contour of the shoe has changed too, in a bad way. Buy these if you want to look like a doofus. Hoka One One makes the best shoes comfort-wise, but the worst shoes aetnetically speaking. And they wear down way to quickly. I don't see any improvement on wear on the Speedgoat three. But the reinforced upper is nice. Bring back the SG2 please.

Let me start by saying I LOVE the Speedgoat 2 and 3, it's my go to running shoe and I have ran a 100 miler without taking off my Speedgoat 2's. So far I have taken these for a 20 mile run out the box and a follow up 5 miler, both runs done with CEP dynamic+ short compression socks. I wanted to get this Speedgoat 3 to have a low cut waterproof option of the shoe I love so much. MUCH to my chagrin, the material and craftsmanship on this SG does not live up to the comfort of the regular SG. Fit: The biggest issue I have with these SG's is the seams inside of the shoe created by the waterproof SkyShell material, especially where the tongue (on either side) meets the body of the shoe to create a 'gusset'. The shoe fits like a bootie and the seams that run down either side of the tongue (on the inside) are so sharp and raised that you feel them as you slip on the shoe (in a bad way). If you position the tongue in a perfect manner (where it lays flat under the seams and folds over itself to provide cushion on the seams) you can get away with less rubbing or pain until you hit uneven terrain and your foot begins to shift in the shoe. At that point the tongue gets shifted to one side or another (a common issue on SGs) and the seams begin to vigorously rub the top of your foot like a 2cm wide stick that's stuck in your shoe. I can't even wear these normally as casual shoes because I feel the seams digging into my foot. Sizing: They size just like my Speedgoat 2 and 3, I wear a 13 in them and 13 in this. For reference I'm a 13 in all Nikes, 12.5 in Salomon Predict RA, 12.5 in the Torrent and a 12.5 in my beloved (and discontinued) Hoka Huaka's. Ride: The lovely SG underfoot ride is still there, super smooth landing and toe off. Misc: They run much hotter than the regular SG, but that's to be expected from a waterproof shoe. The only reason they get 2 stars is because they still have the legendary Speedgoat ride. Not sure what I'll be doing with these shoes.

Super narrow - I'm a woman who purposely purchased the men's to get more space in the toe box, but there wasn't much space there. Found better success with Saucony Peregrine.

I have had my shoes for less than a month and the sole is already falling apart. I am very disappointed in the quality of this product for the price I have paid for it.
