I have had 3 pair of Gaviota 1. I loved the cushion and support of them. Recently got the Gaviota 2. While they are still good, they feel less stable and less cushioned than the Gaviota 1. Hoping Hoka splits the difference on the Gaviota 3.

The shoe is comfortable must is cheaply made for what you pay. The pair I have the eyelets are breaking and the material inside at the heel is wearing out and casing hot spots on my heels.

Very comfy! I love the support. I am extremely disappointed in the bottom of the shoes. I have worn these for 1 week and the treads are already are worn out!

I am a modest jogger with flat feet so I chose this shoe for the stability and cushion and I like them just fine but after one month of use JUST for jogs 2-3 times a week, the soles are COMPLETELY destroyed. Is my pair defective? Who knows but for this quality, they're really not worth the price. Unless you are cool with dropping 150 every other month, I'd look elsewhere

I purchased the Gaviota 2 in purple last year in September! I didn't quite use it a lot at the beginning cuz it gave me blisters every time! Around March this year, I finally came around with some anti blister socks. Last week they broke, some plastic inside the shoes started showing in the inside-side of the shoes. in BOTH Shoes! Given that I barely used them and they broke down in less than a year, I really wouldn't recommend them

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!! THE SHOE HAS A FACTORY DEFECT!!!!! TOOK HOURS AND HOURS ON THE PHONE MULTIPLE TIMES AND WEEKS OF MISTAKES AND DELAYS TO GET ANY KIND OF RESOLUTION. THE OPERATION IS EXTREMELY POORLY RUN AND TOTALLY DISORGANIZED. THEY CHARGE TOP DOLLAR FOR A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT THAT IS OBVIOUSLY A FACTORY DEFECT. RATHER THAN PULL THEM THEY ARE STILL SELLING THEM. Weeks and weeks of delays to resolve. Multiple mistakes multiple problems. I was made to pay shipping for the return because I bought local rather than from website. The original pair of shoes, the eyeholes broke on each shoe, the replacement pair...eyehole broke after 2nd use and then second eye hole after less than tenth use. The replacement of the replacement was supposed to be a leather pair but they send the same defective model. The return with UPS was a nightmare, I was given wrong direction by HOKA ONE ONE and had to spend considerable time with the UPS driver. Then I am told I am getting women's shoes as a replacement. Then I'm told I'm not. Then when the replacement comes it's not even the same color on the website. Mistake after mistake after mistake. Dealing with HOKA ONE ONE cost me hours of time on the phone, unnecessary aggravation, exposure to health risk at the UPS store and with the UPS driver, bad information on my replacements. THE SHOE IS DEFECTIVE BUT THEY CONTINUE TO SELL IT AND CHARGE TOP DOLLAR. The only positive thing I can say is that everyone was pleasant to deal with and did seem to want to help but that doesn't make up for the fact that they are selling a low quality product, charging top dollar and have a return/replacement process that literally took hours on the phone and weeks to resolve. At no point in this process did they get anything 100% right. I wrote a detailed account of the experience but it is too long for the text box. I would give no or negative stars if I could. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE NOT READY FOR PRIME TIME!!!

I am so disappointed in these shoes. After years of wearing Nike and new balance (long distance runner here), I finally decided to try out HOKA based on the positive reviews I had read. Since I pronate, the Gaviotas were the recommended shoe for my feet. Never have I once worn a wide shoe as my feet are not considered wide...or narrow, however these shoes are so narrow for my feet that everytime I run even a minimum of three miles, I end up with blisters on the inner sides of my feet (have tried multiple types of running socks and it never seems to fix my issue - it's definitely the shoe). To add to my disappointment, I've had these shoes for five months and the inside close to the back of my heel has already torn open and the plastic is peeking out - cheaply made....I've never had a running shoe already break down on me so quickly, especially for how expensive these cost. Overall, I can tell the stability in the shoe is very good but the quality and narrow design are disappointing. With the painful blisters I've gotten from wearing theses, ill be ordering a new pair of running shoes - and not from HOKA.

Second pair of Gaviotas and I like them.

Headline is all that is needed to know about these, they are perfect.

These are great! I stand all day at work and these shoes are very comfortable. Getting me the new Gaviota model for Christmas!

Beware they run small by one size or size bigger than needed

These sneakers are exactly the same as the ones they replaced. I only replaced the old ones because they were wearing out.

This is my third pair, I love these shoes! Stable and cushioned.

I use for walking only. It keeps me well balanced and is good for my back and hip problems.
