The straps over the toes is loose while the strap around the ankle felt tight. Length was perfect!

I loved these sandals, however with no adjustments to the width. Not for narrow feet, sadly returned them.

Love these sandals. Unfortunately, there was a terrible squeak on the right shoe. You want heads to turn because your shoes are awesome, not because they squeak so loudly! :(

These are such cute shoes, but the strap that goes over the arch of my foot was so tight and the strap around the ankle dug into my skin and really hurt. I am so sad that these didn't work out.

Love them on others but they don't look good on my foot. As always, Zappos service is seamless from start to finish, absolutely superb!!

Wanted to LOVE these. On the opposite side of the buckle, mine had either glue or stitching that was torture, just even putting them on to try on the size. Didn’t even take the other shoe out. There’s no way I could endure that! Disappointed.

Material is cheap leather and not great quality. I like the style, but it's not worth the discomfort of stiff leather. The straps are not adjustable and are loose. Shoes flop around and feel insecure. I had the vegan ones, and I expected them to feel less pliant than leather, so I got the leather ones to see if they would arrive tighter and grip the foot better - but they don't. They feel just as flimsy as the vegan pair.

These are soooo cute! However, I have a wide foot and couldn't get my toes all they way through. I wish they made them wider. I have to return.

Definitely go down a full size if you want to stick with this product. I wear doc marten boots 6/7 depending on the style and I should've went for a 6 with this. The straps aren't very comfortable and they dig into your skin when you walk. Maybe that would be something that softens over time because of the leather. Either way I'll be returning as they're way too big. Very cool style though - would pair well for a femme grunge outfit.

Absolutely enormous. The straps were so loose that the sandals flopped and my feet slid off the back even on the tightest ankle hole. I didn't even bother trying to size down.

Based on previous experience with Dr. Martens I knew to size down. I actually went 2 sizes down (8 to a 6) for the Blaire sandal based on the reviews. Length-wise they were perfect. Unfortunately the strap closest to the toes was way too tight and I couldn't comfortably squeeze my foot in. Why can't Dr. Martens just fit normally?! Any other time they would be too wide so this was an unfortunate time for them to be too narrow. They are as cute in person as they are online so it's VERY disappointing....

Really cute shoes, but I had to order two whole sizes smaller (I'm typically a US Women's 12, I ordered a US 10.) The boots would work very well for someone with extremely wide feet. I have a wide foot, and I feel like my feet slide around a lot in them. Very stylish, so I'll put up with it!

I am usually a US 8.5-9.0 and I ordered a size 8.0 as I was told I the food bed is a bit big. The footbed was indeed too bid but the straps were far too small. I believe with some stretching they would be able to fit but with them running large anyways I just decided it wasn't worth the hassle. I love the style and boy is the footbed comfy! I fully recommend if you have narrow feet as I don't have abnormally wide feet and they just didn't fit.

I wanted so bad to like these shoes and re ordered twice but they didn’t fit right at all even after i went a size down from my regular size. they fit so strange, some places were too tight and others too loose and my heel and foot would slip out. They’re pretty but fit very strange for me.

Like any Dr Martens, I ordered a full size smaller, and the footed was about right. For reference I am normally a 9US women's, and I ordered these in size 8US/6UK. They were stylish and surprisingly lightweight, but I had a fit issue. The three straps were way too large for my average width (I think?) foot, so they kind of hovered above my foot and offered no stabilization. Also these design is missing a back strap so my foot would just slide off the back of the sandal even after 2 steps on my carpet. I knew I had to return these 30 seconds after I tried these on. I ended up buying the Gryphon Platform and I'm way happier with that sandal. The aforementioned fit issues are resolved: the buckle across the foot can be tightened for a more secure fit, and the sandal has a back strap that keeps my foot from sliding backward. They are also very comfy and stylish, so I'm happy with the Gryphon pair. The Gryphon's also look slightly more expensive (probably because they are lol). I think the Blaire sandal is cute, but be prepared to try another style if you have fit issues like I did.

I ordered a half size down, but the length seems at least a full size (or a size and a half) too large for me. The straps are too wide for my medium foot. The sole is too rigid for comfortable wear. They look cute on other buyers but don't work for me. Sending them back.

I'm saddened that these do not work for me :( I'm a true US size 9, and despite claims that they run large, I ordered my normal size. They were too big, so I ordered a size down. Unfortunately, the 8 just wasn't right either. My toes didn't go to the edge of the shoe, but my heel hung off the back slightly. I wasn't impressed too with the quality of the leather - it definitely read as synthetic. It's all too bad because they're so cool and have a nice cushy sole.

Rats. For some reason I had to discover for myself what other reviewers already had posted: these sandals are much larger than sized. I wear an 8 in other brands and other Doc Martins, but these sandals were comically too large. Smaller sizes were not available in the color I wanted. I hope Doc Martins will figure out the sizing and bring these back next season. I'd give it another go, if they did.

Very disappointed because the soles are amazing and very cushiony. But the straps are WAY too loose. I usually wear an 8.5. Ordered an 8 still way too large. And I’ve taken them to 2 shoe repair places. They are telling me that because the way Doc Martens are constructed they cannot tighten the top straps. Now I’m trying to find an insole thick enough to keep the straps tight enough. So bummed because I love the bad ass look of the sandal.

Fit is really bad.

These were a bit of a heartbreak because they are incredibly cute and felt like they were going to be comfortable, but the ankle strap rubbed the skin off my heel immediately and I ended up returning them. Sorry, I will not bleed for fashion. :(

The ankle strap and foot strap closest to the ankle are loose if you have normal-to-narrow feet. Unfortunately, the looseness of these contributed to a turned (and broken) ankle, while walking on flat ground. These might work if you have wider feet. Really wanted these to work because they are otherwise lightweight and comfortable.

Sadly these shoes are going back. The style is great but the fit and comfort is lacking for me. They run about a full size large but felt I could have exchanged them for a smaller size but the real killer was the uncomfortable ankle strap!! I couldn’t deal with the thick strap rubbing my ankle with every step!
