Ich habe die Jacke im Handel gesehen und sie war leider ausverkauft, daher war ich sehr froh, dass ich sie bestellen konnte.

I bought this jacket to replace an older model that I absolutely loved. I chose the Ellipse colour thinking it would be a blue/purple like the photos on the website. In reality it is a regular cobalt blue with no purple tone at all. If you care about colour, I would try to see a model in store first. I know this would have been a great jacket, but for such a high price I want to love it.

I was looking for a fitting shell jacket that packs small, and couldnt be happier with my jacket! I often need to buy large jackets (that tend to be bulky) in order to get long enough sleeves (I'm 177 cm tall), but this one in medium fits like a glove!

I really like this jacket. It has kept me dry and warm in all kinds of conditions. It is a little more fitted that the Beta LT in back so you may not have quite as much room for layering. I am close to 6 feet tall and 170 pounds, bought size XL and the fit is perfect. I have it in 2 colors Dark Firoza & Poseidon

If it is not too cold (upto -5C) but windy and snow storm, I put my yellow Beta SL Hybrid on. Highly recommend for outdoors in the most inclement weather.

This was my first Arc'teryx product I bought, and I am very satisfied with it. I got the Dark Firoza and I love the color so much. It is very light, very packable, waterproof, and it goes very well in both cold and warm weather.

It's just perfect. With the two different gortex fabrics it's soft and flexible where it needs to be. Also durable at the wear points. I used this jacket all over Iceland with an atom light underneath for warmth. It was waterproof but not so much wind proof. You need another layer underneath for warmth and to cut the wind. Adjustable tabs for hood and hips give a great fit. Also has pit zips that the beta light does not for extra breathability. Well done arcteryx- another win.

This was my very first Arc'teryx purchase and I could not be happier. Upon trying it on in the store I fell in love with the fit. It's very flattering and shapely. I normally wear a medium when it comes to jackets but I ended up needing a large in this so as for the sizing I believe it's best to go up a size. I also plan to layer so a large was enough for me to wear an insulated layer and a fleece underneath. The jacket is completely waterproof and wind resistant and it has been a blessing to have since my old rain jacket died on me quiet recently. I recently was shovelling snow and got to try this jacket out. With just a plain hoodie underneath I managed to stay warm in the snow and the wind. I was pleasantly surprised! To me this purchase was a no brainer, a great investment in my comfort and I will most certainly be buying more Arc'teryx products in the future!

I wore this jacket on our traditional Election Day walk. It was POURING. But tradition is tradition. Boy, am I glad I had this newly-acquired jacket! It kept my torso completely dry, even in the strong wind and rain. The jacket's customizations are plentiful and easy-to-use. It offers excellent hip/behind coverage. The hood fits amazingly well. I can lift my arms and move my torso freely. I'm taking this jacket to England in December for a photo tour, and am now confident that I made the right purchasing choice.

My boyfriend bought me this jacket for my birthday. I have worn it almost everyday since. It is very lightweight and can easily be folded into a backpack for hiking. Also, having long arms, this jacket is the perfect fit.

I love this jacket, fits great, performs as expected, light weight and packs up well. I use this as my main rain/wind layer when out snowshoeing, hiking, walking. The pit zips are great and aid in venting on those warmer days when you still need rain protection.

I bought this jacket for my wife. It is everything she hoped it would be...and more. She needed a light packable rain shell, as we are now wearing soft shells in all but the most extreme wet weather. This jacket is very light weight and super packable. There will not likely be a time when it will not fit in a pack, no mater how full it is stuffed. It's not likely going to get much wear time, backcountry, but that's not really the intent of this jacket, anyway. It does, however, make her feel good to know it's always there ready to protect her if she needs it. It does have a slim fit, but not excessively. My wife weighs 125-30 lbs and is 5'-5" tall. She wears the small and it fits her perfectly. Arc'teryx has put the C-KNIT only in the high-wear areas...perfect for just the right amount of added durability. The pit-zips are also a welcome addition over the Beta SL. The major added bonus is how great this jacket looks. It actually gets its most use "around town", when the weather is sketchy. All-in-all, it's a great jacket, for its intended us. It's not durable enough as a primary shell, but make the perfect backup piece.

Loved my old Jacket. Hope to love this one as much. My old jkt suddenly delaminated in the wash after years of being a very dependable rain shell & my favourite jacket - it fit so well and did not ride up when I lifted my arms. It also fit over my lifejacket and my helmet - I'm mainly a paddler, but I also hike. The old one was a medium. When Arcteryx agreed to replace it, they told me what model to try on and I AM SO HAPPY I went to the store to try it on, because I had to order an XL to get the same measurement around the chest (to fit my lifejacket). The new jacket is longer in the body & arms, but that's OK. VERY DIFFERENT CUT & SIZING!

I bought this about a month ago. It's light and breathable I haven't used it all that much yet but so far I'm very happy with it. I bought a small but returned it for a medium. I found it some what tight under my arm area, high on my torso. I will be layering it with my Proton. It's noisy but I guess that's the nature of the material.

This is a versatile shell for summer or layering in cold weather. I ordered up a size to be able to wear a fleece under. The best feature is the fabric - it's a smooth waterproof and no crackling as you move. Vents are great but the side pockets are more hand-warmer than for deep storage. Could use another pocket. Roomy fit, and prefer it.

I have the Beta SL jacket and took it with me on my PCT Thru Hike (4 months). Needless to say it got a lot of use, though mostly for wind protection and warmth rather than rain protection. I like it as much as all my other Arc'teryx gear except for one major flaw: I have to have the cuffs folded up all the time, otherwise, even after careful closing of the velcro strap, it damaged other materials it comes in contact with, pulls threads and just gets my wrist "stuck" when reaching into bags etc. The closure is sub-par and Arc'teryx could make this jacket even better by coming up with a cuff closure that is in line with the other, high-quality features they put on their products. I liked the material and fit of the jacket though!

I've had it for about a year and worn it on some pretty intense backcountry adventures. Like many have noted, water does get through, but I don't have any dramatic stories unlike others. I can tell you, however, that it's held up great against some pretty abrasive surfaces. I never worry about it ripping. I'm 5'3, 120 lbs and usually go for a medium because I like to layer. This is only slightly bigger than my expectations, but I wouldn't switch it for a small because I found it too snug when I put a midlayer underneath.

I really like this jacket, it fits well and is very light (as it suggests)! HOWEVER, on 2 different occasions, the goretex fabric over the pockets leaks A LOT, and has ruined two iPhones because of water damage. I love this coat but it is a risk deciding to wear it and keep my body dry OR wear a different jacket so I don't ruin my phone. I wish I could be able to carry my phone on me while I wore this jacket.
