Beautiful boots, look more like riding boots then a rubber boots. However the wide calf is not wide.I have the wide fit huntress and had no problems- I couldn’t even pull these boots up.

First things First. For me these Beautiful Rain Boots Fit True To Size. I wear a Size-11 or 12 in most Styles and the Length and Width were Perfect. They were easy to Pull On and Pull Off. I would have to Agree with the other reviews that although they’re advertised as Wide Calf they are more just a Regular Calf so pay attention to the measurements provided. Being that I’d Already gotten the Matte Finish Refined Rain Boots (Wide Calf) I Thought it Would Be Nice To Have Them in the Gloss too and with my Upcoming Birthday, I Dropped some Subtle Hints that it would be nice to have the Gloss Hunters Also. I was Pleasantly Surprised when I Opened the gift box on my Birthday to see that my Wife had Gotten them for me. Although I Love my Matte finish Refined Rain Boots, These in the Gloss are so Versatile and I was able to Dress them up or down. I usually wear a pair of Trouser Socks when wearing them with either some Skinny Jeans or some Cute Leggings When Going Out to the store, shopping or a Casual Dinner Date With My Wife. But on the flip side, we had an Event we Attended last weekend and I paired them with a Cute pair of White Lacey Over The Knee Socks and a Black Dress. Because they were Shiny, I wore a Wide Black Patent Belt with the Dress and They Looked Like a Pair of Black Patent Riding Boots. They were a Great Hit at the Event and I Received many Compliments from many of the other patrons. I would Definitely recommend these to those Looking for Style and Comfort. I’m thinking of getting a few extra Colors in this “Refined Style” Too. Much to my Wife’s Dismay I Tell Her That a Gurl Can Never Have Enough Boots. Thanks Zappos.

Excellent, super boots. Cool!

Fit is a bit snugger than previous Hunter boots I have purchased in a size 7, I am a 7 1/2 shoe size. These boots will be fine with a thin sock.

The actual foot size was true to fit (I wear a 7W and ordered the 7); the shaft, however, was too tight at the top, yet sagging around the ankle. I went with the short version of these. Cute boots!
