I love this purse, even tho I only gave it 4 stars. I love Day & Mood purses. The leather is soft and supple. They know how to make a small purse that still has room for the requisite things: phone, small wallet, lipstick, keys. I don't like the chain. It's hard to put it down in a quiet place because of course the chain clangs. The chain makes it heavier. And I just prefer a plain thin leather strap. They could've at least made the chain removeable. But it's not. I would imagine it's a turnoff to more people than me. I bought and kept the purse anyway because I love everything else about it. It's easily holds my 4 'requisite things'. They're easy to put in and take out. I put up with the chain. I guess it looks good and certainly doesn't cheapen the look of the purse. It's a personal thing......
