I looked at dozens of anti-theft travel bags before selecting this one. In the past, I bought a Travelon purse, and the wire poked through on the strap after two weeks, plus the lining always got caught in the zipper. This Baggalini purse is much better made. Yes, it's more expensive, but you get what you pay for. Note that although it is described as a "Large Hobo," it is more medium-sized. I was concerned that it would be too small, but it fit everything I needed for a day out on my trip to Budapest, including sunglasses, water bottle, umbrella, wallet, Kindle, small bag of toiletries, a fan, and a granola bar. The included wallet is just the right size for international travel, as it fit my passport, global entry card, credit cards, and medical ID, as well as cash. Yes, there are only three card slots, but you can double up, and it's not a good idea to take too many cards when traveling abroad, anyway. The wallet attaches to the inside of the purse via a strap for added security, and it can be removed and used as a wristlet on its own. Inside, the bag has an RFID protection zippered pocket (the wallet is RFID protected, too), as well as an open elasticized pocket. The front outer pocket can be secured to protect against pickpockets, as can the main compartment zipper. At the back, there is another zippered pocket that can be unzipped at the bottom to slip over a suitcase handle. I mainly used this pocket for ticket stubs, guidebooks, and the like. The fabric is sturdy canvas, much more substantial that that of the Travelon bags, but it is still quite lightweight, since the cut-proof properties come not from embedded wire mesh, but from the grey slash-proof fabric on the front and bottom of the bag. The purse was comfortable to carry, even when fully loaded, and I felt very secure, even in crowded market halls and trains. My only complaint is the strap. It is wide and stays put, but it is way too long. I can't imagine a circumstance in which one would loosen it all the way, even for someone quite tall wearing it crossbody. Therefore, there is a ton of extra fabric that winds up doubled over, making the strap bulkier than it needs to be. I thought this would be more of an issue than it was, though, and the bag still fit comfortably, even though I'm pretty short. Overall, this is a good, practical bag for travel. Yes, it is not the most glamorous, and trading my designer bag for this one left me feeling a bit frumpy, but it is still much nicer looking than any of the other anti-theft travel bags on the market. It is just the right size, and the anti-theft features are well thought out, including the extra wallet, which was very nice to have. After a week abroad in constant use, the bag still looks brand new. I bought the black, and the color did not transfer to my clothes, and the strap was not rough, even on delicate tops. Recommended for travel, as it will bring peace of mind. It is good to have a sturdy, lightweight, secure, dependable handbag when you are visiting places you've never been.

I liked how this travel worthy hobo included the little wristlet bag/zippered pouch with a lobster hook clasp. Just clipped to a belt during my Key West adventures. Whether I was kayaking, going to the pool, or out for an evening in the Conch Republic, being able to downsize to just essentials was a nice feature. Then off to the airport with the hobo which handled a water bottle and shawl along with the regular stuff. Although the color choices are a bit limited, it is a working bag that can be stuffed into a larger carry on tote. When traveling, it is good to have a secure, practical bag.

I like that it looks like a regular purse. I’m not sure if it is slash proof all around or just the gray area in the front pocket (fits my 10” ipad pro nicely). The RFID blocker wallet must work because when my car keys get behind it, my doors won’t unlock or the car won’t start! All in all a great bag that holds enough for the day and doesn’t look like a computer bag so it’s not as apparent that you maybe carrying a tablet.

Great to keep your valuables safe in foreign countries. Easy to use!

I bought this bag for myself. I am 74 years old. This bag allows me to walk around different places. It's light weight, has numerous pockets, but most important it has an RFID clutch attached to the inside pocket debit card credit cards all safe in one area, and it has a cable, light weight, inside over the shoulder strap. I love this bag - the size is perfect - lots of room for everything that I need but not too big that I feel ridiculous or uncomfortable wearing it on my shoulder. The strap is adjustable so that you can wear as a cross-body bag and it's not too large for that to work comfortably as well. I love all the zippered pockets and the option to secure them when traveling. The color is gorgeous - I get a lot of compliments.

I just purchased the bag, it has to be my 6th purse that I bought from the company and even bought as a gift. They never disappoint me, they are the perfect purse for today's fashion and standards.

I have been using my new Bagallini purse for about three weeks. It is very well constructed but light weight, and stands up to my "throwing it around" as I am prone to do. Even so, it always keeps it's shape and looks as nice as it did on the first day. I like that the shoulder strap is a little bit wider and does not cut into my tender shoulder. With the RFID wallet it is a comfort to know my credit cards are safe. This purse is a winner for me!

I purchased this bag for an upcoming trip out of the country. The security features are the reason I chose this bag but the style is a 10 as well. It is lightweight and checks all the boxes. What a find for travelers

I bought this bag and it's the perfect size for everyday use. It has enough pockets to hold everything I need.

I was looking for a bigger bag and this is it!! It fits everything I need plus there is lots of extra room when I need to throw more in for a day trip. The blue is much darker than the picture suggests but I like it anyways. The darker blue won't show dirt so easily.

This is a good everyday bag, or one for travel for safety. I like it that I can carry it hands-free too. Right now, it is toting my small laptop.

This is the second Baggallini for me. Embarking on a cross country road trip and looking forward to using my hobo tote bag.

Although I am not a huge fan of the fabric, it actually worked so well that I quickly got over carrying a fabric bag instead of a leather one. I loved being able to attach it to my suitcase handle where it stayed securely in place. Made it so easy to get around the airport and subway!

I love this bag! It has lots of room and several pockets, but it isn't bulky.

I swear by this brand! Style, functionality and light weight! Keeps you very organized and travels well. Once on an airplane I got sick all over myself and my Baggallini bag. Went home and washed it in hot water & bleach then air dried it. Came out just like brand new! I couldn't believe it! They wear well also! I absolutely love my Baggallinies!
