Like many other reviewers, I had issues with shedding. I have had these slippers for months now, and the edges are a bit threadbare from the shedding. If you have a narrow foot, you will have to fasten the velcro as tight as it will go, and event then, the fit is pretty loose. I now wear mine with socks because I love the arch support.

This slipper sheds terribly. I’ve even washed them twice and my feet continue to be full of tons of black fuzz every time I wear them.

These are the most attractive option offered in vionic slippers however the plush furry fabric makes them more slippery on your feet and therefore causes more foot fatigue trying to keep them on. Not worth the extra effort so I went with a less attractive pair of slippers from the same brand.

It’s beautiful and so soft. However, the fur inside is so slick it would slide off while I walked. Sad to return.

The size, fit, and comfort at very good. However the slippers shed black fuzz very badly.

These were so comfy until I tried to walk around in them. The faux fur is so slippery that my feet couldn’t get a good grip for walking in them. Otherwise they would be perfect. :(

I actually do not like these as much as the regular Gemma slippers. I found them hard to walk in and slippery. Just didn’t feel secure so I’m returning. The old version are awesome though.

I really like the arch support these provide although they are a bit hard. My biggest gripe is that they shed everywhere! I thought maybe there was just a break in period but I've had them for a month now and they are still shedding. The fur sticks to carpet and your toes.

Adorable and comfy but a little too plush inside which made my feet slippery with socks. Too bad because otherwise they're wonderful.

I have purchased 3 of the Gemma slippers in the past and love them! Wear them all the time around the house for great support. However the Gemma Plush had to be returned. The "plush" part of the material made them feel so slippery! My feet would tend to slide over to the side of the slipper and almost off the edge. I felt that was just to risky to try going up and down stairs in them. Had to return them. Ordered another pair of the just regular Gemma slipper in the terry type material. Hopefully when they arrive they will be like the other 3 pair that I have worn out over the years from wearing them everyday!

I love Vionic shoes and slippers. As soon as I don't wear them my plantar fasciitis returns. They are my new go-to shoe and slipper. However,? the plush slipper, especially the black sheds something awful. This is not acceptable.

The fur sticks to your feet when they get hot. Bummer, they are so cute and comfortable.

Too big they just flop right off I had them on for 2 minutes and almost fell down the stairs.

They are so cute! However, as other reviewers have mentioned, they are too slippery inside making it difficult to walk. I tried tightening the velcro, but my foot (even without socks) slides around with every step. The arch support felt great and I think I would have liked them except for the constant slipping. I am returning them and trying the non-plush Vionic Gemma instead. I typically wear a 7 and the 6 fit me best in this Vionic - 6 fits my arch perfectly.

These slippers are SO comfy. However, unless you want to vacuum every time you wear them, they are not worth the hassle. I mean, slippers are for relaxing, right? Not creating more work. Sadly, these are gonna have to go back. They shed WAY too much.

I loved the look of these slippers, but I literally could hardly take a step in them, the interior was so slippery under my feet.

Seems to run long by a half size, arch is too high for me anyway. My arches are collapsed and these are NOT for flat feet, the high arch pushes your foot off the slipper. Footbed is also too slippery, they are cozy if you didn’t actually have to walk in them

The plush version of this slipper rubs off leaving a trail of fluff all over and I mean all over. I need to return and will buy the other version. Love the comfort of the arch support.
