Finally found a shoe wide enough for my little guys fat feet!! I tried 2 different Nike styles, 2 different vans styles, 1 pair of new balance wide.. nothing fit like these! My son will be 1 next week and has been walking barefoot since 10 1/2 months because I couldn’t find anything! These XW fit him perfect. He doesn’t even notice they’re on and it seems like he has great stability in them too! And the Velcro actually makes it all the way across his foot. Love these shoes! Definitely a customer for life!

I really love stride rite soft motion shoes and never have any problems with the quality but not these shoes. On first day, the stitching around the shoes started ripping off and tearing apart but it was not a big deal. The problem is one and a half months later, the hook & loop closure started unravel on the left side shoe and never attached to each other again. I had to stop putting these shoes on my son. It’s very dangerous while he is walking or running with unsecured shoes. Very disappointed.

My son has been wearing these since his early days of walking. They fit true to size and have been amazing. He wears them daily and pretty hard, and the material has held up well, better than the suede Stride Rites we started out with. After several months, the Velcro strap is starting to curl, but he’ll need the next size up soon. They are great for stability yet flexibility that early walkers need. I wish they were a tad more stylish but all in all, really happy with this purchase.

My 16 month old kiddo (who has been walking for 4 months) is off the charts on the stride rite website for width (even for extra-wide by 1cm!), but it turns out these shoes (in extra-wide, of course) fit him *perfectly* and are even more flexible than the See Kai Run shoes I also bought. Easy to get on and off. He has no problem running in these shoes! I hesitated because of the price, but they really are well-made.

Perfect everyday shoe. My child can run and play in these all day everyday and they match everything. Perfect for daycare as I value comfort and safe over anything else. We’ve bought these in 4.5 and 5.5 XW sizes because we love them that much. Flexible sole, easy to take on/off. Highly recommend!

I ordered the xw for my sons fat foot. They are perfect! I love stride rite has that option. They are lightweight and flexible, perfect!

My LO finally grew into the pair I bought for him and we love them! He’s been walking for 3.5 mos and we transitioned from a soft sole shoe to these and these offer his feet such good support. And no tripping in them!

Fit as expected. I didn’t think my baby had particularly wide feet, but the wides fit great. I imagine the regular width would fit great for kids with narrow feet.

Ordered a 4 1/2 and a 5 for my grandson and the 4 1/2 fit better so I returned the 5. Cute and soft shoe for a little one learning to walk.

This adorable sneaker is a great shoe for my 1 year old. He is happy walking in them and doesn’t even try to take them off. They are easy to put on. He has a wide foot and I ordered the wide and the size and width fit just perfect. The grey is a great neutral color too. Really happy with this shoe!

The sizing chart provided by Stride-Rite was spot on and the shoes fit my grandson perfectly. These are lightweight and he doesn't seem to mind them being on his feet. He's a beginning walker and and the flexibility in these shoes is key. They look great and we hope they wear as well as the all the Stride-Rite shoes we've purchased over the years for his older siblings and cousins.

Cute little shoe for baby. They are very soft and flexible. Easy on/off with no laces to come untied and trip him up. He seems to enjoy wearing them as well. I will say that I took scissors to them to clean up a bunch of frayed strings all over the shoes. They seem to be staying together so far, so it is most likely just a cosmetic issue.

My 1 year old loves them. He looks more confident now to walk with these shoes.

Love stride rite soft motion! I always buy these for my little ones from walking age til they outgrow this style. This particular shoe I felt ran small and ended up having to exchange to a half size bigger. Great shoes though! Matches with everything! Love them and love Zappos as well!

The shoe was very cute and comfortable for my little man. However he obviously isn’t walking a lot and we had only had them 2 weeks and they started to unravel at the seams. So the quality is not there. Zappos however has amazing customer service so they helped me right away.
