I got a size 8 in the black leather so cannot speak to the suede version (which might have a different feel). These boots feel very comfortable right out of the box. I am typically a size 7.5-8 depending on the brand. This size 8 fits, but there is no room to spare on me (I can just barely get the back zippers up). If you are in between sizes, order up bc the smaller size would likely be too small. If you want to be able to wear thicker socks with these, you might want to consider ordering 1/2 size up from your normal size.

Love these! As other reviewers said, they are great for fall and work really well with ankle jeans. I bought the smoke suede and they are just a beautiful shade of light grey. I can see them getting dirty fairly fast though, so won't wear them unless I know I'll be mostly indoors on a rain-free day. I just bought a 2nd pair in anthracite that will probably hold up to heavier use. I'm a true 8 1/2 and the 8 1/2 in this fit me just fine. No break in time at all. Have had them on for 9 hours right out of the box and my feet are still a-ok.

Great bootie and Anthracite Suede will go with everything! It fit right out of the box and no break in time. Price was right and glad I made the purchase. Thinking of buying the dark saddle suede.

Boots are just as pictured. Beautiful! True to size. Very comfortable to wear and they look terrific. Leather is superb quality. Highly recommend. And as always, Zappos is just the best.

The problem was me not the shoes. The shaft was just about an inch too high and hit me at a wide spot on my calf. So my legs looked fat in the shoe. If I had long skinny legs these shoes would be perfect. They were comfortable and chic.

Love this Tucker bootie and so happy I bought the anthracite color. I was a little hesitant on this shade but it is a charcoal color and definitely does not look black. I normally wear 8 1/2 but in boots, I wear a size 9 incase I wear a slightly heaver sox with them and to give myself more room in the toe area. I do have a small bunion but the medium fit just perfect. Not long in the front and arch support was fine.

Perfect fall bootie. Size is accurate of other DV booties I have and width is on point. Love the color and style. Shaft height is perfect for ankle jeans/leggings. These will not disappoint!

Cute booties but fit narrow. The anthracite color is nice dark grey. Returned because they fit narrow and couldn't wear them for more than 1 hour.

After reading the reviews on these, I decided to order my normal size, 9m. I have long, narrow feet and am always between a 9-9.5 depending on the brand. I have another pair of older DV boots in 9m that fit perfectly. These ran very narrow, I could get them on but they were very uncomfortable in the toes. I was sad to send them back.

I feel in love with these booties the second I put them on. They were comfortable from day one and didn't require any breaking in. I have worn these a good amount during the fall/winter season and they still look great! I highly recommend this shoe. They do go up a little higher on the ankle, so sometimes I have to roll up my jeans to keep them from bunching. This doesn't bother me though.

These boots are really attractive and I really want to keep them but I cannot. I am not sure if I have an odd-sized foot, or if it is the style of these "booties," but with every step I take my heal rides up a good 1-1.5 inches. That would lead to big trouble after a half hour of so of wear, so unfortunately I have to return them. But give them a try if that is not an issue for you with the low-cut bootie style. I got the dark taupe color and I think they would go with a lot of different outfits. I also got the Lucky Brand Faust, and they were very nice too but I had the same trouble with the heal sliding around with every step. Other than that the 9 M fit fine. I can't squish the ball of my foot due to foot surgery, and I didn't have that issue in the medium for this boot. I wish they could stay in my closet but back to Zappos they must go!

Really cute & comfortable boot! A little narrow in the toe box for a wider foot. True to size for an average foot.

This bootie was so cute and well made. I had to send them back because whoever packed them caused the leather on one shoe to rub on the top of the other boot. Not sure if this happened it was that great a grade of leather. Wish they would have been perfect cause I really liked them. I love Zappos!!

Love this booty, exactly what I was looking for. Nice Hartsell or those of us who need it. Hold up really well, I tend to be hard on my shoes. They are even cuter in person!

I love these! Didn’t have a problem with the zipper or the width at all, and I ordered my normal size. I did have to return them though after realizing I have a near identical pair already hoping to exchange for a different color.

I am very pleased with this bootie. It is a beautiful shoe and I think timeless in style. They are comfortable to wear.

I bought the Black, leather bootie. It is easy on, with the back zipper. The toe fits slightly narrow, but works since I went up 1/2 size. I have not yet worn the booties outside my house, but they seem to be very comfortable, have light padding in insoles, and should be fine for light walking. I like the style; it has an equestrian look. They should work in snow and can be worn with pants or dresses/skirts. I hope these booties will become Fall/Winter staples.

These boots were exactly what I was looking for. Very comfy with a padded insole. Will be a great go-to boot for work and around town.
