Very narrow shoe with a very thin sole meaning you will feel everything on the ground. Basically like wearing very stylish socks.

Originally bought Bacco Bucci Julien, but those didn't fit and then didn't have my size so landed on the brown Leightons. Love the thinner white sole...the trend with these leather tennis shoes tends to be huge soles/white part of the shoe and I don't like that look...those remind me of skateboarding shoes from when I was a teenager. These are a lot sleeker and can be pulled off as professional or casual...great with jeans, chinos, some slacks. Searched long and hard and thought these were a great value...look very similar to Magnanni's brand at Nordstrom ($325). Still wish the Juliens were back on the site, but for now the Leightons are great.
I'd also recommend:
Ecco, Trask, Kizik, Magnanni

These shoes looked really nice on. They can be day to day shoes but my husband is keeping them on the back burner for when he wants to dress up his look a little and have a *clean and crisp* white shoe to go with his outfit (opposed to his everyday Stan Smiths) This shoes definitely steps it up a bit and looks even better in person.

The shoe’s length fits true. The width is noticeably a bit narrow compared to other shoes, but they’re not so narrow to merit a return. They feel more comfortable than Ted Baker’s Thawne style (fit true to size, but very rigid feel).

Very minimal padding under foot, like walking on hard rubber.
