I love this shoe. Yet I had to return it. I purchased the lavender gray/dive blue style based on the picture. I was very disappointed when I received the shoe. The fit was perfect, but the color was too dark. It was more of a dark gray with a hint of lavender. I prefer a mid to lighter gray.

Dedicated to gel nimbus for last several years and naturally I purchased the '21 version. I'm disappointed in the fit. The heel cup is uncomfortable and has been painful and still hasn't been broken in after weeks of running. I'm looking for leftovers of the prior version to get me through the fall races.

Gel Nimbus 18 was THE BEST. The 21's aren't nearly as comfortable and look cheaper. I bought 2 pairs and sent them back. Wish I had bought more of the 18's. When they feel like those again, look good, and are as cushion-y soft as those, I will stick up and buy several pairs. Listen to the consumers, Asics...they have spoken! :)

If you have narrow feet these shoes are not for you. I was in love with the colors and design but the fit was not good for me as I have narrow feet. They run small in length. Ended up exchanging for the previous nimbus 20 and I am much happier with the fit.

I have worn manyl pairs of Asics over the years and have always been very satisfied with them. I purchased this pair because of my previous experience with this brand, and because I have plantar fasciitis and they were recommended by several websites. However, I felt they didn't have as much heel cushioning as other brands I tried, so I returned them. I did love the color and style, but couldn't justify keeping them because of their looks. Comfort comes first. I also felt they were a little pricier than similar brands.

For a wide width shoe this shoe was too narrow. I returned the shoe.

I love the toe box on this model, but lacks the cushion the previous models have had , especially in the front of the shoe. My feet end up hurting at the end of the day. In previous models they did not.

Although I am still trying to break the sneakers in, I have to say that I really do miss the softer landing when walking. I started getting these particular sneakers several years ago, and they used to have more of a softer cushion. I still have several of my older pairs, and I put them on every once in a while because they are still in decent shape. This is how I know that they once had a softer feel on the sole when walking. I realize that I still need to break the man; however, I also feel as if there was some more room with the wires surrounding the ball of the foot on the older shoes. I apologize for seeming hypercritical.

I bought these to help with my pronation. I usually run in Gel Kayano 25 and thought the GT might help more. Love the extra width I asked for, but not a fan of the less flexible shoe bottom. Re-ordered my Gel Kayano this week.

I like the look of this shoe. Unfortunately, the sole is too stiff for me.

I have been wearing ASICS for walking/running for years. They have been the best fitting shoes for me until this pair. I bought the same size as my previous pairs, at least 4, yet they don't seem to be built as tall as the others. They feel tight on the tops of me feet and it's not how tight the laces are tied, even with the laces pulled as loose as they go the shoe still feels tight on the tops of my feet. I love everything else about these shoes but I'm not sure I will be able to wear them for my upcoming half marathon as planned.

I have been wearing the Nimbus for the last 5 years in UK size 8.5 and have found them extremely comfortable. Bought the 21 to run a marathon in April and they are too tight on the toe, will only be able to use for 5-10km runs. Really disappointed after spending so much on them.

I've been buying, wearing and running the Gel-Nimbus line into the ground for the past bazillion years. They've always fit to a T! Very comfy, great support, I've been extremely happy. I do notice this latest version seems a little "thin". Maybe it'll grow on me after I log in a few more extreme runs. But the first 20 have just been - meh.

GEL-Nimbus have been my go-to shoes for years. The GEL-Nimbus 21 just didn't impress me. They didn't give the same spring or bounce- "walking on clouds" feel that other GEL-Nimbus versions gave. Personally, they feel a bit tight on my toes. I am also unimpressed with the color selection. I'll hold onto mine, for now, hoping I will like them a little more after a few long distance runs. The cushioning around the ankle is pretty comfortable and I haven't experienced any pain after runs yet.

Unfortunately disappointed by this Nimbus. I was a huge fan of the 18 and was hoping for a similar feel in the 21, but it's just not the same comfort. Feels pretty firm across the whole sole, and I really can't imagine how skinny the non-wide shoe is!

I ordered a Wide shoe, but these were so narrow I could not get them on. I have 5 pair of Asics and they all are different, all say wide, but only one pair is truly wide enough for my foot.

I was hoping these shoes were better made. Maybe they need to be wore for a while before they feel different but I didn't think they should be priced that high. My feet are normal width but these shoes are too tight for me. I like the design and colors.

Very stiff. There is no flex in the middle of the sole, causes the front of my foot to have a hard impact.

They do not have enough padding for my feet. I bought 2 pairs because of the great price, but I had to buy insoles in order to make them comfortable.

Toe area is smaller than previous years - Also less cushion. I've worn gel nimbus for 10 years and these are the worst. If I had saved the box I would be returning them.
