Got these for my son. He outgrew the Gel Contend 4’s and wanted the same shoe in a bigger size. He said these are even more comfortable due to the memory foam insole. It’s cushier than the previous version.

Was a bit small. I had to return the first pair and get 1/2 size larger. Light and comfortable with good support.

This is the third pair of Asics running shoes I've bought. I love the fit, the price is right, and Zappos delivers them fast with no hassle.

the shoes fit great. i wear a size 15 shoe. very hard to find a pair that size let alone under a hundred dollars. i am very happy with the shoe and the fast delivery.

The problem with running - workout shoes is the new ones always fit tighter than your used, worn out ones. This shoe has good form, fits and I am still breaking it in. Good support. Great shoe for the price.

Ordered husband's typical size which agreed with Zappos "Recommended Fit" calculator, but that was too small. Half size up was perfect. He likes them a lot.

They are great shoes. Wide and fit great. I wear for work for everyday comfort. Have not used for running. But I highly recommend for everyday etc.

Fantastic gear. I have Nike, Adidas and Reebok. By far these trump all those - and for half the price.

I like these asics shoes so well, this is the third pair I've bought from Zappo's. Great fit, comfortable, stylish but modest, and wears like iron.

These shoes are very poor quality. Going straight to the garbage can.

It felt to me that the width was a tad tighter than I normally find in Asics shoes. If using thick socks it would be uncomfortable to wear. Otherwise it is okay.

As former Elite runner, I have used nearly every brand out there made for running. As I have always worn an EE size shoe, I was limited for years. After wearing these Asics for the first time I was amazed how they performed and how little I actually paid for them. Most manufactures of wide running shoe have little idea how the foot lays in the shoe, that why you find most have a frontal elongated box shape. The Asics gel keeps the natural frontal curvature of the toe area and a mid arch shape. This seems to encapsulate the natural form of the foot. The insole is spongy like feel aid in my mid foot and for foot strides, even the heel is covered well. It is flexible from mid foot to forefoot for proper foot rotation and push off. I use these on my moderate to fast pace runs and so far they have performed well on all types of terrain. They have become my favorite shoes for running, I only wish I had these back in the 80's in competition. Love them!!

My son loves these Asics. Fit and support is perfect and he loves the style. I would recommend to everyone.

I bought these for my dad for Christmas and he loved them. I read the reviews before I ordered and he wears a 10.5 so I ordered him an 11 and it fit perfect

I haven't worn an Asics shoe for many years. I took a chance and ordered these in my usual size 11 and they fit perfectly. The cushioning is wonderful! I ordered the grey and Red Snapper and love the colors. Glad I too a chance on these shoes and the price was definitely worth it.

First, this was my first order from Zappo's, but it definitely will not be my last. Between the time the order was placed and receiving my shoes, was a period of only 17 hours. Unbelievable service. I am now wearing the shoes for the first time trying to get a feel for them and so far I'm very happy. If there is only the slightest negative for me it would be that there is a tiny bit of heel slip but nothing major. I am happy with the purchase and would recommend these shoes to others. They also seem true to size.

shoes are too short and narrow, if you buy them you might want to size up
