i am really flatfooted. These shoes...they're really good. i can balance on one foot with these on. True to size. Room around toes. Comfortable. Toe thumbs up!

Support and fit make the difference, running is more comfortable with these.

I really love these shoes. The arch support is essential for me. I have very flat feet and I could instantly feel the support once trying on these GT-2000 7's. My only concern that I would address is that I have several pairs of Asics and although they are all the same size (7) technically they vary in sizes. So I have these, Nimbus-23's, and court shoes. The Nimbus-23's and court shoes fit like a 7. But the GT-2000's 7's fit more like a 7.5 or even an 8.

Excellent Fit and Stability. Just wish it had the reverse lugs of the Venture model, so that it was truly suitable for trails. This is more of a road shoe.

Good basic running shoe. I have a prominent bunion that causes my big toe to wear through the top of the mesh forefoot in most new running shoes after about 250 miles. The 2000-7 has a 3/4" reinforced band around the edge of the mesh which prevents my toe from wearing through. My last pair of 2000-7s were still intact after 500 miles. On the other hand (or foot) my toe has worn through my Gel Nimbus in about 250 miles.

Really enjoy the shoe and it's fit, however the padding for foot support was gone within a few weeks. I have about 60 miles on them and had to change the inserts.

I absolutely love my new shoes. They are very comfortable. However they seem to not Be as lasting as long as my last pair.

Very comfortable, snug fit. ASICS wear very well and I've been buying them for 15 years.

Sneakers fit and wear well. I only had 1 color to choose from in my size. Would like to see more color options.

Older flatter feet prefer these to the Kayano's, just feel like they have more arch support and better heel cushion to them. Nice toe box, not cramped. But still locks my heels nicely, which has been a problem of mine for years. Overall great sneaker, would give it 5 stars if I had more miles to judge em.

I've used the 2000 series for many years. This is good but could use a little more cushion in the forefoot.

These are great shoes. Very supportive and comfortable, in this case after a fairly lengthy breaking in period. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is inconsistency. I bought another pair shortly after getting these and they were comfortable for long periods right out of the box, no breaking in necessary. Same shoe, same size.

I've been running 25 miles a week in these. They provide plenty of support for the over-pronater, but feel a bit wide and cloggy. Other than that, they seem pretty solid 50 miles in.

As a long time runner in Asics I was looking to replace a pair of Kayanos. After about a total of 40 miles (longest run under 3 miles) I can say that the shoe performs as well as the Kayano. Differences noticed, are the cheaper and less cushioned upper materials used. Otherwise, these shoes fit the bill and provide the correct stability and cushioning that I have come to expect with Asics shoes. Would buy again.

Very good shoe. Quite stylish. Great service. Reasonable price. Recommend Asics over all other brands. Tried other brands, evaluating quality, style and price. Always came back to Asics.

Love ASICS shoes. I always buy them. They are my go to running shoe!

Shoes have a nice feel overall but are definitely a "harder" type of shoe. Not as much cushion as other stability sneakers. I would also recommend you order a half size down from your normal size. The sizing is just a bit off which can create some friction when you're running.

Heel rim gave me blisters which is odd because I have been wearing the GT2000 for over 10 years. Otherwise, excellent shoe.
