The shoes fit perfectly and have a little bit of a wider toe area which is great for running. Very good at absorbing shock from running on pavement.

I ordered these in black and they were perfect. I walk about 4-5 miles a day and these are exactly what I wanted at the perfect price.

I love these shoes! I have bunions and these shoes feel great!! I am going to order another pair!!

Fit great - I have been buying the Excite for years...and this version 6 did not disappoint. Love the colors too! I wear them working retail part time when I am on my feet for 4 or 5 hours a day.

I used to have the gel-contend 4 and those were perfect right out of the box. However I have not been able to find another pair of Asics that fit just as nice, I've tried 3-4 pair. Always there was something with the arch and made my foot cramp. I am not a running shoe expert, so not really sure how to describe. I feel I have normal feet and I like shoes with little to no arch support. In these, I have been on a few walks, maybe about 10-15 miles, and no complaints on this regarding comfort. I haven't run in them much at all but seem ok. Not the best selection of colors but they are ok. I would buy them again.

LOVE these !!! I have become seriously disenchanted with Sketchers and decided to switch to these Asics casual sneakers. Boy am I glad I made the switch... These offer MUCH more support, MUCH more cushion and MUCH better styling. For once, I don't feel like I am walking on the bare floor. I will never go back !! The Asics Gel Excite were perfectly comfortable right out of the box with no break in time needed. Like walking on air !! Worth mentioning though is that all of my Asics fit small. I am a size 8 in everything, but a 9 in these fit perfectly with a moderate sport sock. Sizing up is recommended..

These are great. Very comfy. My only complaint is that my feet get pretty warm in them — but otherwise I’d highly recommend!

Bought these for my daughter who runs High School XC. They're lightweight and provide decent traction and cushioning. Luckily she has medium arches and average width feet, so she's easy to buy for. The only complaint she has is the modern shoes don't have the thermal protection of the older shoes. She can feel the heat of the track more, but I believe all shoes are prone to this nowadays with the foam their using. They wash up well and are built well. They're not very sturdy so if you pronate, supinate or need motion control better opt for the higher end models like Nimbus or Kayano.

I could feel the support on my feet. I usually go around the house barefoot so my feet are in pain at the end of the day. So when I tried the shoes on I could tell the huge sense of relief. I'm not quite a Wide width but also not a regular width so this shoes were a little tight but not that much that I couldn't walk on them. And the colors are so cute-lavender & salmon.

I usually wear sneakers size 7, but I read if using size 7, you should buy half a size bigger in ascis, so I did, and they fit fine

These sneakers are sharp looking but somehow I'm between sizes. My regular size felt a little too snug at the tip of my toes and when I ordered the next size up, it didn't fit right either. Too bad because they seem like a great shoe. Just not the right fit for me.

I’m usually around a size 7; however, I went with 7.5 since that’s what size my Brooks shoes are. I have some extra room, but a 7 may have been slightly short. I’m overall happy with the shoe.

Even when adding an additional arch support, these shoes hurt my feet...

Good sneaker for the price. Cute, pretty comfortable. I bought them specifically for 2-3 mile walks on pavement so they serve that purpose well so far. I have plantar fasciitis in one foot, hoping the support of these will be enough. So far so good!

'this style runs short by half a size. Width was good and no arch support but i I would add and arch support.

Looking to replace my old adidas mana bounce, I thought the ASICS GEL-Excite 6 had about the same roomier toe box. The "find your size" guide suggested the same size as my adidas 8.5. However, I found them running a little shorter than the adidas. I went for width B as in my adidas but again, found them not as wide as the adidas. As another customer mentioned, the ASICS soles squeak. I tried them in the house on tiles and hardwood and you could here me coming round the corner. Sorry, I will have to do with my old adidas mana bounce for now. And the ASICS will go back.

Not as comfortable as I thought they would be. A bit disappointed, only wear Asics.

I always urge people to figure out how they walk/run. I mean do they overpronate or supinate (underpronate). If I would have gotten that advice years ago, my knees would not be giving me so many problems. I supinate. I have high arches. My foot rolls outward when I walk. Now a days, I read the reviews as well as the descriptions. I don't just look at what shoes look nice or have high ratings for comfort. This Asics shoe says it is for supinators but after just a few minutes of wearing them, I began having pain in my little toe due to my foot rolling outwards. A good shoe for supinators would have not allowed that and kept my foot more centered. Asics used to make excellent shoes for supinators. The Nimbus was decent but Asics went and drastically shrunk the toe area(way to tight now!). The best shoe Asics made for (severe) supinators was called the Galaxy but that was many years ago. Now like most shoe companies they shrink the toe area, cut back on the cushioning, decrease the arch support all in hopes of saving a few cents and then raise the prices. Sorry Asics, I've about given up you totally. Start respecting your women consumers. If the shoe hurts our feet when we walk...we'll walk on over to a different shoe company!!

Don't bother with these shoes - they are so cheaply made!
