They felt very comfortable but too small. I need a half size bigger.

Went for a mile walk right out of the box with no problems. Felt wonderful. Plenty of cushioning and support. Great shoe!

I love this shoe, especially at the price! Because of knee injury I did add a cushier insert, but in general at size 11M the heel and toe box is right for me, with moderate support up the sides. I've had lots of Asics and loved the Gel Nimbus 17 in 10.5M. I have a Medium to Wide foot, narrow or average in the heel and wide across the ball of the foot. This Gel Excite 6 is a good middle of the road fit for me. I bought it in White with the neon accents, I like it even better on - its a light and bright shoe for spring and summer. I would buy more of these if in light colors like Mint Sea Glass or Apricot Lite Show. Comparing to other models: - The Asics Kayano 24 in 11M was too narrow and tight all over. - The Kayano 25 in 11M was too big in the toes, but fit better in the 10.5M.

I wear a Size 9 sandal, and a Size 10.5 sneaker with socks. I love Asics but find the toe box varies in models and it takes some trying on, plus I add my own extra cushioned insoles that take up a bit of room. So with these Gel Excite 6 I ordered the Size 11M and they fit great, will keep them. The flat basic insoles that came in them were lightly glued but easy to pull out, and I was able to put in my thicker cushy insoles and be a happy walker. I liked the white color with bright accents, makes a happy shoe for spring and summer. I wish this model came in more pastel colors, I would love a turquoise or light pink. I ordered the Kayano 25 11M at the same time because I liked the Sea Glass color, and found them actually too big in the toe box and less support up the sides, but if you really have longer larger toes you might like those. I've been a huge fan of the Gel Nimbus 17 I could wear all day with no problems and liked the cushioned gel front and back, but Asics doesn't have anything like that this year, it's more of the engineered foam, but I can't comfortably wear those all day unless I put in my own gel or memory foam insoles. I do wish Asics offered more models and colors in Wide, I shopped their website and the extended widths section has very few models and only dreary colors like grey, blah.

These would have been great, but they run narrow. My right foot was bulging out over the outer side of the shoe and I already wear a wide width. Asics couldn't go any wider so I can't exchange for a pair of the same.

I have tried many types of Athletic shoes in various price ranges. Accommodating a neuroma and getting an adequate toe box has been challenging for the past 2 years. I have even tried orthotic inserts. The best shoe, which was lower priced, is the Asics Gel Excite 6. The front of the shoes provide enough toe room and do not put pressure on my neuroma. There is good support and my heel is held in place. I usually wear a B width and this model works well for me - even holding the midfoot securely . I sincerely hope that Asics will continue to offer this model as it is a gem in my opinion.

Asics makes a great shoe. Very comfortable

Was looking for a wider toe box while keeping a narrower waist and heel area. This shoe really delivered on both, more so than the Gel Kayano 25 regarding these particular features. The Kayano has a very different sole and thus feels different. The Excite is Soooooo comfortable, cushy and bouncy, and I love wearing them. The arch "support" is questionable. I put a slim half-length arch support in under the insole and it works great.

These felt so good the moment I put them on. I liked the little bit bigger toe box. They seemed to be a tiny bit shorter than most size 12 which fit my foot perfectly. It’s impossible to find 11 1/2. I love the style and color. My heels love the gel!

Shoes felt good right out of the box. They have wide toe room and the mesh material keeps them from feeling like "stiff and tight" tennis shoes. Walked a mile in them with no issues at all. So far - excellent shoe.

These are incredibly comfortable, like walking on a cushion. I normally wear a size 8 and the size 8 fit me perfectly.

Very comfortable shoe. I have a short, wide foot so even though I got it in wide, I have to use a shoe horn to get it on. Maybe as it gets broken in, that won't be necessary. I would have liked a rounder toe box rather than a longer one.

For the price, you can't go wrong. Thought they were comfortable my first run in them, but didn't realize how comfortable till I took them off and put my everyday shoe on (and my everyday shoe is a running shoe as well.) I own Brooks, Saucony, Under Armour and Aasics, but when you look at the price, these are a no brainer.

Great Sneaker! I went through 12 pairs before I found these (I tried: Nike, Merrell, Solomon, Adidas) and this was truly the most supportive and comfortable. Roomy toe box and width (but not too wide), good cushioning for jump squats, running and walking and also sturdy and stabilizing enough for lifting, lunges, squats, etc.

I usually size up a full size on athletic shoes but only went up 1/2 on these and they are perfect. Still a bit of wiggle room in the toe box. Not the best on arch support but I’m only using these for street wear. I got the white and they are super cute for spring and summer. If
