I've been wearing these Asics and predecessors for over a decade. Now this new pair really hurts the bony top of my foot - and I have no arch, so it's not like my arch is too high. The tongue has NO padding under the eyelets, I can feel them. I have now switched to Mizuno for more padding.

I'm a size 8 in most brands (7 1/2 in Converse, size Medium in Rainbow), but one of my feet (the left one) is slightly longer than the other-- something I was not even aware of until I bought the ASICS GT-2000. I originally ordered them in size 8 (in spite of having read the reviews), but they were a bit too small (short -- on both feet). I returned them, reordered, and received the size 8 1/2 three days later (Zappos has amazing customer service), and was surprised to find that the left shoe fit perfectly, but the right shoe was a little bit too long. I decided to keep them anyway, but I'm going to have to buy some kind of insert for the right shoe to adjust the size. Weird, right? I'm 43 years old, I've bought lots of shoes over the years, and I've never before experienced this problem. But I also live in Arizona, and most of the time I'm barefoot or in flip-flops. I even work out in bare feet. The shoes are comfy otherwise, and they look nice. They seem well-made too, so I'm confident that they'll hold up. I'm glad I got them on sale, though. I would not necessarily recommend them at $120.

Sizing is very inconsistent, some sizes are TTS others run small, need to order several sizes to get the correct fit, really bad for a running shoe

Wearing for 3 months now and love them. Have foot problems and these work well with my orthotics.

Had to return due to being too small. Wear 7.5 in Nike, these Asics were too tight.

These sneakers were true to size and width. I thought the cushioning on the sides and top were excellent, but the bed of the foot seemed to lack cushioning.

I wish it had more arch support. The cloth outer, just doesn't seem worth the price. Comfortable. Classier colors run out fast in the wide shoes.

Overall I really like these shoes, they fit my very narrow feet. The toe box is a little small but I am going to try a half size bigger to see if that fits better. The soles are very slippery on wet wood paths. I have never encountered that before.

I have been wearing this shoe model for walking for 8 or more years. There have been some changes in the upper material, but it remains reliably comfortable and supportive for me. I normally wear size 6, but wear 6 1/2 for my walking shoe. In this brand, I need a size 7. They have a stable base and are good for high arches.
