We were trying to find a substitute for the Noosa. If this had hook velcro and a tongue that was not secured on one side, it would be perfect. Not a bad shoe though. Holds up better than the GT1000.

I originally purchased a 2 because my child wears a 1.5 and we wanted a little room to grow. We ended up sending them back and getting a 3 because this shoe runs small. My child said it's extremely comfortable and was happy walking over a mile and playing at the park the first time she wore them. She wears them daily and loves them.

They changed how the shoe velcro’s and the tongue was attached on one side. My 4 yr old is having issues with getting her shoes on due to this. We go through multiple times of taking them off and putting them on before she’s ok with how they feel.

I bought three shoe for my 2, 3 and 5 year old . The 2 and 3 have no problem of walk and running with this specific shoe.
I just want to say , the shoe was very heavy for my 5 year old. The sole was very diffrent and big from the other two shoe. She keep falling over. Just wondering why the size 10, 11 and 12 shoe have heavier sole. It is absolutely very bad design.
I will like to have or see size 10 ,11 and 12 have the same sole as the toddler shoe.

We always order ASICS for our 2 sons, and usually have great luck with the fit, style, and durability. These specific shoes were so ill fitting and oddly designed compared to any other ASICS we've ordered over the past 5 years. The first thing we noticed that made it so difficult to strap the Velcro, let alone get the shoe on, was that the tongue was sewn into the shoe on one side. SEWN in. My 8 year old who is very capable and self sufficient had trouble pulling the tongue to try and center it to get the Velcro strap across. Also, it seems like the Velcro strap on this shoe is shorter than any other ASICS kids shoes we've bought before. It's almost like this shoe was made for slim feet, although that wasn't stated in the description. My son has normal, average feet and we've never had issues with ASICS fitting before. We didn't have time to exchange these shoes with school starting, so I used a seam ripper to detach the sewn tongue from the shoe so my son could actually maneuver these himself. One star awarded for the cool colors. This was the first time I've been disappointed with the design, quality, and fit of ASICS.
