The strap was really short and the side by the outer ankle was sewn down (the tongue was fused to the side of the shoe with a large pocket of fabric that immediately hurt my sons feet really bad). I’m not sure if we got a defective shoe. But I’ve never seen a shoe with a tongue sewn to the side of the shoe on only one side- with a huge chunk of hard fabric where they sewed it. These were horrible. I can’t believe ASICS released a shoe like this! I had to return about 15 seconds after he put the shoes on. He’s not even a wide width and I could barely close the strap. The length was fine- true to size.
