These boots are absolutely gorgeous! The black casciano leather is slightly pebbled (not shiny) and extremely soft and supple. They have a partial zipper on the inside lower calf, and are fairly easy to get on and off. I got the wide calf version (my calves are about 13.5") and they fit great with leggings or narrow pants. I'm 5'3" but have no problem with the height of the boot, especially because they're so soft. I ordered my true size, 7.5, and the fit is spot on. I don't usually wear socks with boots, but there's room for a thin sock if I want. Best yet, the 1.5" heel is just right, and the boots are really comfortable to walk in. I suspect they'll just get better over time. I'm thrilled!

Beautiful boot, super soft suede, gorgeous color. Love the small rivets, great heel height. Love everything about the look of the boot. The fit is where it fell short for me. I am a wider calve girl (16") and this is described as a 20" shaft, but it's no where near that. It's more like 15", and to wear it properly, without it bunching and over any sort of pant, 14.5" calve would be best. They are very tall boots, I'm 5'8" and they come over the knee, even with it bunched up and not pulled all the way up my leg due to calve size. If the calve would have fit, I would have been in love with this boot. Sadly am returning

Foot size ok except for arch cut into foot. Did not like height of boot at all. Barely at top of knee, wouldn't call it over the knee, which is what I wanted. The height made the very top of boot cut into my leg. The leather in boot is fine. Needs to be taller, especially if describing as over the knee. I'd have exchanged, if the height was good. As it is, must return.

Beautiful boots. However they are too wide above the knee. Too bad. Had to return them.

I tried another pair of VINCE cAMUTO boots on with a zipper all theway up the back. Honestly they were easier to get on and very comfortable. These are just as comfortable to wear but just harder to get on and off. Not terribly hard but it helps to have someone pull them off for me. Zappos didnt have the ones that zipped up the back all the way so I settled for this version. Love the detail in the back. Very comfortable and Im picky about foot wear

Spot on just as described in photo beautiful boots spelled wonderful it's new leather will need to break them in but they really are comfortable right out of the box true to size and width I'm an 8 .5 ordered that size I'm very slim legs a little wide at my calf as I said I love them thank you zappos

I got the gray suede and they came exceptionally beautifully packaged. The boot is gorgeous and exactly as tall as I was hoping, with the silhouette I wanted. (I'm 5'8") I love the deep gray color. It's true to size which isn't always my experience. The foot of the boot around the toe is a little hard but since the boot fits well and isn't too snug I think it will break in.

I was so excited to get these boots - they are GORGEOUS! Vince Camuto never disappoints with quality and style. My calves are just too big for these (DARN IT) and just barely but it would ruin the silhouette with the bunching around the ankle. I love how high they came up on the leg - I am 5'8" and they came up to a bit over my knee cap which felt great but, alas, I am returning them. Also, beautifully packaged.

Beautiful boot, however runs a little small.

This is a beautiful boot!! I loved the styling, the details and the lower heel height. Sadly, I had to return them for two reasons: I didn’t like how awkwardly tall they came on me. The top of the boot hit me right on my kneecap. And they sorta splayed out on the top giving them that pirate boot effect I didn’t personally care for. The pictures online make them look like they’re an even width all the way up, so I was surprised by that. (I’m 5’10” so shorter people might not have the same issues as I did)

Comfortable, well made boot. What I didn't like about the boot is that it fell mid knee and that looked and felt awkward to me. For reference I am 5'6".
