My feet are becoming more problematic with age. They are flat, narrow and have bunions. These shoes are comfortable right out of the box and provide good support for my feet and arthritic knee joints. I wear a size 8 and ordered down a size to 38. The length and width are perfect. The color, black stone metallic, is a good neutral color. The leather is supple. Ecco has become a shoe that provides a good footbed for my problem feet.

Okay I ordered the 8-8.5 or 39 what I order in Taos and other ECCO styles. They were to big even with socks. I ordered down a size 7-7.5 or a 38 and they fit perfectly. The style is super cute so classic for ECCO. The exchange was flawless and customer service excellent. I love dealing with Zappos

I am a big Ecco fan and have purchased over 15 pair over the last 2-3 years. I have come to associate Ecco with great leather footbeds. I was so disappointed to find that in my last order of 3 pair of Eccos, including this shoe, none had the leather footbed! I suppose I should have checked more carefully up front. I'm sending them back for that reason and sincerely hope the leather footbeds are not being phased out of Ecco shoes.

I just accidentally reviewed the wrong shoes -- Gillian slip on sneaker -- so I'll write another one for the shoes I actually bought. These are gorgeous in the raisin color, slightly irridescent. I wear a 9.5 medium to narrow shoe and these fit well -- plenty of toe room, smooth interior, and my narrow heels don't pick up. I'll wear them for a few hours before I decide -- sometimes the linings (or lack thereof) start to rub after a while. So far these are beautiful and comfortable. What more could I ask?

I really wanted to love these. I put them on and they fit, bit a little snug across the top of my foot, when I switched out the insole and put in my orthotic I couldn’t zip the little zipper. If you don’t have a thick Orthodic you will love these shoes.

Perfect fit for me. Lightweight shoe that is dreamy to wear. The fig color is gorgeous with my tan skin and a fun pop of metallic color. No issue with zipper sticking. Very comfortable shoe!?

Beautiful quality leather, well made. But, I needed more arch support. Felt to flat for my feet, I know they would start hurting. Sadly, had to return.

I love the shoes. They do appear a little longer because of the toe shape, but I knew that when I purchased them. I bought the black metallic and I love the color too.

Fit nicely, very comfortable! If you're in between sizes I would definitely recommend going with your smaller size!

Ordered my usual size 39 and these were huge, at least a full size larger. These also had white marks all over the black leather that didn't wipe off. Submitted a return as soon as I opened them.

Eccos always fit me true to size so I am partial to this brand. I especially like the side zip because of my high arch and for fall/winter when I may wear light socks with them.

These shoes are at least a full size larger than normal size. I am sometimes a size 5 but most of the time a 5.5. I can fit two fingers into this shoe between my heel and the back of the shoe. There is a lot of room. I love the look of the leather and the zipper. I am over 45 and looking for a comfortable shoe for staying on my feet at work. I am going to try the 4 because the style was too cute to just give up on.

Fit and size (38) were typical. Did not need a smaller size. At my usual size, can wear a thin sock, led ir barefoot - I heavy socks. Have the black cow leather and the materials are really nice.

I absolutely love these shoes. It is like they were made for me. I have high arches and they have great support. The leather feels like butter and the metallic black is a lovely color that will go with a lot of my clothes. I am planning on using these for my traveling and they will slip on and off going through security at the airport and I can slip them off on the plane.

This is the second pair I have ordered. Both are great & very comfortable.

I first ordered a larger size but went smaller...They are wonderful I now have 2 pairs. just amazing

Love these shoes. I was looking for something that I could wear to comfortably walk in around town, but wasn't as casual as a running shoe and these fit the bill. It would be nice if the sole came in a dark color, because I think the white will look dirty after a few weeks of walking around the city. Perfect with capris, shorts--perfect to wear to sporting events, without looking like I am going to work out after. Good arch support.

I love Ecco shoes. They are kind to my feet in terms of arch support and overall comfort. The side zip is stylish and the bronze color adds a little personality to the look. I like that they are a version of the ankle high side zip shoes, which is more appropriate for warmer weather. I love these shoes so much that I now own three pairs of Ecco's with side zips (two are ankle high, which I love) in different colors.S

Very comfortable. I returned them because I tried them with the type of capris I wear in the spring, and they didn't look right to me. Not sure how to wear some styles. Just didn't want to invest in more pants. Would look nice with long pants though. I bought some Ecco's shoes for my husband and I earlier this year, and they are the most comfortable shoe ever!

These were cute and the interesting pewter color was cool. They were well-made and comfortable, easy to get on. They just weren’t exactly what I was looking for so I returned them.

Nice shoe. Interesting pearly dark grey color. I like the zippers on the side. Fit well and was very comfortable and supportive. Toe is a little pointier in shape than most shoes this style, but that seems to be in keeping with the ECCO style, in my opinion.

Design is flawed around ankle - leather flares out with every step as the zipper closure comes short of fully securing the shoe to foot.

I haven't worn these yet, so my review is based on just minutes of wear at home. I like the look of them but will have to add an insert because the sole and lining seem rather unstructured (admittedly, some may find this preferable, but I like a firmer sole).

I liked these but they were loose and slipping off my heels. I am 5'1 and 104 lbs. I usually wear a 6 or 6.5 and got the 37. Otherwise they are cute and would pair well with pans or jeans and are comfy to walk in. I may try a smaller size. I was also hoping for a bit more height but they are pretty flat, like sneakers.

Good shoes for travel, but the zippers are really, really hard to manage. They are hard to get on unless they are unzipped, and then I couldn't get them re-zipped.
