The fit was larger than expected, as others had said in their reviews. However, the boot is SOOOOO comfortable and stylish, it has been my go-to boot this season, even over my UGGS. I wear them to work, on the weekends, all the time. I will only change them out when the warmer weather is consistently here and then I'll change to "dress" sneakers. Great purchase.

I originally ordered a size 8 because I had tried on another style of Born bootie at the store and the 8 1/2 were too large. The 8s I received were too small but Zappos return and refund policy was awesome! I just packaged them back up, printed the shipping label, and took them to the nearest UPS store and reordered the 8 1/2s which came the next day. The 8 1/2s fit perfectly and I just love the style, they are just what I was wanting.

I was looking for a different looking boot then the average ankle boot and I found it! The first time I wore my boots to work I received many compliments right away. I'm usually a 9 in Born so that's what I ordered and they fit perfectly. so comfortable and no break-in time needed! I did not have the heel lifting problem many have reported. I have worn them with skinny ankle type jeans and leggings so far. Both choices look great. The only fault I find is that they are a bit lose at the ankle and sit low on your ankle so your socks will be shown. With a very light sock, the sock tends to pull down a bit. They are so comfortable I often look down to make sure I don't still have my slippers on! I know they will last 8+ years like all my other Born shoes so I feel they are worth the price for their excellent quality!

VERY comfortable. I ordered the grey distressed, but they are actually brown. Disappointed about that because I really wanted gray boots. I'll keep them anyway and look for gray boots elsewhere.

I got these first in the natural, then immediately exchanged for the grey, which I'm keeping as it seems a more versatile color for me. They feel like slippers! I applied some waterproofing due to our wet climate, and the leather still looks good after that application. I agree with other reviewers that there seems to be alot of extra room in the heel, but I plan to wear these on bare feet in summer months and I think I will appreciate the breathing room when it's hot and my feet are swelling a bit. Great little shoes, and a good value IMO.

Fits perfect just order half a size up. I bought one pair on sale after Christmas and a week later, ordered a second color from Zappos so that I can wear them all the time. After hip surgery, plantar fasciitis, heels hurt and I’m always struggling to find the right shoes that aren’t Birkenstock’s all the time. I’ve lived in these since Christmas. They were also surprisingly warm on a work trip to VA without being bulky. I highly recommend!

The overall fit runs small. I normally wear a 10 in 99% of what I order. This shoe however ran small. Toe was at the very end. I originally ordered a 10 and then 11. The 11 fit so much better and a little bit wider. I haven't worn it enough to rate comfort. Overall a cute bootie and glad I ordered it!

Ordered these in the natural. Fit as expected, a bit loose but that was the point, IMO - was looking for a shoe that would not be too constricting in the warmer months when my feet tend to swell a tad. Also fits like a comfy slipper right now arouind the house (Oregon in January). I am waiting for the grey (arrives tomorrow) & will decide which one to keep - but defintiely keepng at least one pair. 1/28/20

True to size for Born shoes. The insole is so soft and comfortable! These are my #1 go-to fall and winter boot. I absolutely love them and wear them with straight leg jeans that hit just above the boot. They are so stylish. Probably one of my top 3 favorites from Born out of 50 different styles over the years!

Born shoes are incredible. Day long comfort. Don't cramp the toes. They're attractive, and well made. These are sold as regular shoes, they don't have lining for snow or rain. Most of the models are suede. Unless a shoe is sold as waterproof buyers shouldn't expect them stay dry or to be warm in cold weather. Common sense.

I call these my Star Wars shoes like another similar pair I purchased. I like them enough that a week after the purchase I bought another pair because I'm sure they won't be available a few years from now. The fit true, cushioned and totally darling.

I purchased the distressed grey in a size 10. I wear a 10 in everything else I have purchased, however this bootie runs small and a bit narrow. I kept them and ordered an 11 and am very pleased the 11 will work. I will be returning the 10 and will be able to add an orthotic and wear thicker socks with the larger size. It is my first pair of Born and overall I am very glad the 11 fit!

Love them. Comfortable & cute. Definitely went up a 1/2 size though. They feel loose but it doesn’t effect how I walk. I tried my true size but they were too snug around my toes. Very happy with them for comfort and looks.

Like some other reviewers I found these shoes to be a little bit wide in the heel but it doesn't bother me. Overall. they are very comfortable and I love the look with skinny jeans.

I wore them around the house for 2 days and then I wore them out for a few hours at a time to kinda break them in!! I have a wider foot and they fit wonderful, they are really comfortable and are super cute!! I’d love to have them in another color if you’d like to give me a pair for Christmas!! ?? Absolutely LOVE them!!

I bought these for my daughter. She has a wide foot, so we were worried about the M width. They fit her very well and she loves them!

These boots are my new favorite! I love the side zip for comfort and ease! I wore them all day and didn't develop pressure point sores.

The day I got these I walked over the city, took in a pro hockey game and still had energy to keep going. Super comfortable, my new favorite little boot. Great leather uppers with the warm weathered look.

I loved this boot from the minute I saw it in a store and couldn't wait to order from here. Sad to say they are too big. I have had other Borns that tended to run small and I could get a good fit (I have small, narrow feet). I normally wear a 5.5 or 35 (when I can find them). Sometimes a 36 will fit - unfortunately these didn't.

Fits perfect. I am a size 9 and it was perfect.

Love the color, the style and the fit! Will be perfect this winter!
