These are a classy looking pair of Chelsea boots. The contrast stitching around the edge makes them look stylish and the overall silhouette is less clunky than some of the other waterproof Chelsea boots out there. I like that they're waterproof (although I haven't tested this yet) and they're very lightweight, which is a plus for travel. I sized up a half size to accommodate a thicker sock and that was the right choice for me. The sole is a bit stiff but would probably loosen up over time. Side note, the removable insole is padded but thin, and I could not get my custom orthotic (half sized, not full) to fit comfortably inside as it made the top of the shoe too tight. Overall, a stylish Chelsea boot that's comfortable right out of the box!

This is one classy looking shoe. Very shiny leather upper and easy to slip on. The pull-tab on this shoe is ridiculously tiny (you cannot fit a finger inside, maybe a pinky if you're super skinny), but thankfully, one's foot slides right in quite easily! There is a nice, removable memory foam liner with light arch support. I found that walking around my slick floors, the grippy looking sole wasn't so grippy, but it might do better in an outdoor context. I have a wide foot that, despite ordering a half-size up, still felt a bit squeezed in these shoes, which won't work for me, but otherwise, these are lovely shoes I would highly recommend!

Returning these boots as they felt and looked liked plastic and also squeaked with every step.

I love these boots so much that I actually just purchased a second pair so that when my first pair dies (if they ever do), I'll have a backup. I've had my first pair for two winters now and they are still in great shape with the exception of scrapes and scuffs which are all my fault. I wear them without the insert because I have super wide feet so I needed a bit more room, so they are a little cold at times, however I feel as though the waterproofing is unparalleled to other "waterproof" boots I've used, so having cold toes for a few minutes once in a while doesn't bother me. I also find I can wear a decently thick sock and still be comfortable. The leather has certainly molded to my wide feet. Not only do I consistently get compliments on these boots for their style, they are my go to boots for work (as a teacher, so on my feet all day) in the winter and they are so comfy. -Absolutely love- 10/10 recommend- I hope they serve you as well as they do me.

Cushy (and removable) sole, but they do run small!

I love the style but was unable to make them work. I originally ordered sz 7 and they were small - too narrow and too short so I sized up to a 7 1/2 and they felt way too large.

Great stylish boots. I really love the generous toe box so my toes are very comfortable and will remain so. I usually wear a 7.5 but in boots I size up which I did to an 8 in this boot. That worked great for allowing room for socks, even ample thick ones, but they do slip a bit with my regular tights. No biggie - I'd rather my toes were happy and they are. The boots, despite their heft, are really light as well. Overall I'm very happy with these boots. I'd looked at other brands in the Chelsea style but they were either stiff, way too expensive or so heavy you get exercise just picking up laying down your feet (I'll leave you to figure out who these were - smile). You won't be sorry with these - they are just right.

I originally purchased both the black leather and the mushroom suede. The black leather was stiff at the top and seemed a bit uncomfortable against my leg. The mushroom suede is soft as comfortable at the top. It’s a perfect low, casual boot that is both on-trend and comfortable. The black leather seemed like too formal a material for such a casual boot. I returned the black leather and have been loving the mushroom suede. They’re such an easy, casual but cute daily option.

Cute shoes and fit true to size (order up a half size if you plan to wear thick socks). They aren't show stoppers but if you're looking for something waterproof and comfortable these are a good fit.

This style is PERFECT for my rainy climate. Narrow and sleek enough for dressy occasions but durable enough to walk around in. BUT... even just trying them on and walking around my house made my knees hurt! It felt like I was standing on concrete. I am not sure why this is, but unfortunately there is no room for an insert so I had to return,

I bought these to have water proof boots, and they turned into my dog park shoes! They keep my feet dry every day, and still manage to look cute, though a little dirty.

Great fit and look. The sole is super soft. I was worried because some reviews said these were squeaky/plasticy... maybe the black are(?) but the mushroom color I got are not!

These are really nice waterproof boots!! The material doesn’t look plastic or pleathery at all, as I worried based on a couple other reviews. They are quite comfortable, with the small exception of them being slightly too big in the heel. They slip a little, but for me, it’s easily remedied with a thicker sock. Overall I’m pleased with these!!

I love these boots! They're still comfortable after spending half the day on my feet. They're super cute with a dress and tights, although my boyfriend says they look like work boots :) Haven't worn them in the rain yet, but I'm looking forward to having waterproof boots this winter.

These boots are great. I was looking for a good flat ankle boot that I could wear to work and these fit the bill. I've worn them pretty much every day since I got them.

After a long search for waterproof boots, I'm keeping the Blondo Roman. I wore them through a rainstorm yesterday and they kept my feet warm and dry. They're comfortable (slightly stiff, at least initially), my foot is well-cushioned, and the sole has good traction. I found Blondo sizing to be inconsistent. These boots are 9 1/2 which is my usual size (9 for sandals) but two other styles were too small, either in length and width. Thanks Zappos for your excellent return policy!
