I loved the boots from the moment I got them 3 months ago. They’ve been comfortable for long days of walking on pavement and cobblestones, great for travel, and super waterproof...until recently. Last week, I wore them for a wet morning commute (~1 mile walk) and ended up with a very wet foot–it turns out that the sole of my left foot is peeling away from the toe of my boot. After 3 months. I emailed Blondo to ask for support, and their response was essentially that they couldn’t do anything since I didn’t buy directly from them. I love these boots but expected far far more from boots this expensive. (Expected more in durability and in customer service.) hopefully my local cobbler can help me out.

These boots run very small. I could hardly get my foot into the boot, let alone walk in it. The material seemed ok and they were cute, but the sizing was disappointing. I am returning them.

Wanted to love these, but they ran a half size small, like other reviewers have mentioned! The wide was actually on the narrower side--not sure why this was the case, as I have other wide Blondo boots that do run true to size. The calf was also fairly narrow. Oh well! On to the next pair...

These look nice but there is a hard inner part around the heel that cut into me and hurt immediately before I even walked around. Can't see how anyone could wear these or what the function is of that part.

Perfect fit; snug to calf but not tight, just as I like boots to fit. I am 5'6", 122lbs.

Usually, I wear size 8M but due to the reviews saying that they ran small I ordered an 8.5W and they fit well and not at all too wide.

The suede style is so chic in person! Leather style are a little stiff and bunch at the ankles. Runs half size small. I wear 9.5 in just about every style of shoe, but needed to size up to the 10 in these.

Finally a tall boot I can wear- the elastic inserts are key. My calves are athletic but too small for the wide shaft version. I love that these are offered in a 9W so I didn’t have to size up to a 9.5

Wow—two years ago the Blondo Evie in size 7W fit perfectly. I decided to purchase another pair in black. Perhaps Blondo uses another manufacturer. The 7W, the 7.5 W and the 7.5 with wide shaft were ALL too small. VERY disappointing. Not sure why the company changed its model. Three strikes and you're out...

Disappointed in these boots. Felt a half size smaller and the ankle area bunched up a lot. Not what I was hoping for...

As other reviews suggest, these run small. I have the Blondo Villa booties in 7.5 and absolutely LOVE them, but these boots in 7.5 were too small. And not only in the foot—the calves/shaft of this boot was suprisingly narrow. I ordered in a 7.5 and an 8, and I couldn't zip up the shaft in either pair. I dont have particularly large calves and have never needed a wide shaft in any other boot, so I was surprised by this.

These boots are super cute and seem like they would be comfortable, but were way too small. Too narrow and too short. I should have known because even the shaft of the boot looked smaller, which are normally too big on my skinny calves. These would have been perfect if the size was correct. Maybe there was a misprint on the tag inside the boot... that's how small they felt. Of course, none in Wide and none a size bigger so I have to find something else. Also, I ordered 2 other booties in size 12M which fit perfectly... so I really believe there was a mistake in the tag.

These boots were freakishly smaller in the foot than listed--at least a full size smaller and narrower (the calf circumference was fine though). Otherwise the materials seemed to be of good quality and they feel sturdy enough that they should be hold up and keep you warm in bad weather.

I have several pairs of Blondo boots and I love the look and fit, but not with this pair. Where the boot hits the ankle is so painful, that after just 5 minutes in them, my ankles were rubbed raw, and this was with thicker socks on. So back they went.

These boots fit well and are comfortable immediately out of the box. I wore them all day with no break-in time. They are a little roomier in the calf than I like, but the positives outweigh this one negative.

I listened to other reviews and ordered a size up (a 12 instead of my usual 11 in Blondo). I love these and wore them comfortably all day the first time out of the box. I searched high and low for a boot that was tall enough -- these come up almost to my knee -- without gaping around my calf. These are perfect! I have athletic calves, and most boots are too wide at the top of the shaft. The Evies are great. Love the rubber sole, too! Only downside is that they're a bit shiny and could be mistaken for rain boots, but I think that will go away as time goes on.

Fit was good overall but a little tight on the calf’s. Hoping the elastic in the boot shaft will ease over time. Great fall boot that looks very stylish.

If you already own Blondo boots and are buying a new pair I would suggest sizing up a half to full size. I have a pair of size 9 Blondo boots purchased in 2015. I normally run between a 9 (Frye) and a 9 1/2 (Cole Haan, Tory Burch). I had to order a 10 to match the length and width of my old size 9 Blondo boots.

These boots are definitely not a true US size 12. It seems as if they tried to convert a European size and went on the high side. The boots are short and narrow, even for my foot, which is towards the narrow end of the spectrum. I recommend ordering larger but if they really did convert European sizes, fit might depend on how they chose which size it is closest to (it's not an exact conversion).

Ordered my normal size 9 and couldn’t even get my foot in it, let alone come close to zipping it. Very disappointed since they are super cute and seemed to be nice quality.

I did not keep these because i take an 11 and the 11 was too small - there is not larger size. I think it runs small. It does not feel high enough quality for the price, but it's not bad at all. Cute style, if it fit, I bet they'd be comfortable.

I would have loved to keep these boots. In nearly every way they were exactly what I was looking for: gorgeous nubuck, great rich color, easy on and off. My problem? The shaft is waaaaaaay too loose on me. Just trying them on, walking around the house, I could feel the top of the shaft slapping against my calf. Guess I have rather slim calfs. If Blondo ever makes these with a narrow shaft, or a shaft that has some stretchiness, I'll be the first in line. Oh well, back they go.
