I thought the shoe would feel softer because the description was suede, but it must be suede-like man-made material because It was a bit stiff. I managed to be comfortable in them for good part of a wedding reception but because I danced the entire night, I needed to switch to my flip flops. Had it been a dinner or different kind night out they would have been fine. They are very pretty on, and flattering to both your legs and your feet. I bought the navy and it's a very dark navy which was perfect for me.

I LOVED the style of these. They are flattering visually on the foot, but there was too much slippage in the foot bed, leaving the ankle too big, and the toe box feeling cramped. I can tell these would be a nightmare by end of day 1 at work. Too bad. SO cute. Also echo what was said about the zipper on the heel: oddly hard to zip and unzip.

I had to get wide as the regular was too narrow. Just as reference I never have this issue with shoes. I am always able to wear the regular width.
Style is super cute, especially for a “comfort” shoe. I get lots of compliments on these shoes.

Beautiful shoe. Ordered a C width and it IS wider in the main area but the toe bed is still too narrow, making the whole shoe feel smaller than it should be. Very bummed.

Haven't worn them out of the house yet, but I think they'll be good. Zipper does stick as others have said, and they are a little stiff around the ankle, but I think they'll soften up. Perfect color and strappyness to go with the summer slacks I just finished making. I also like the slightly chunkier heel as I spend time working in Manhattan and hate losing my heel in the sidewalk grates.

I liked the style of this shoe a lot. The cross strap wasn’t too loose like some reviewed. But the zipper was way too stiff. I’m sure over time it would loosen up but it look me a while to get the shoe off! I’m not sure if the shoe was just too big for my foot but I noticed my toes stuck out at the top. Overall I ended up returning them but I’m pretty sure the toe-showing issue was because they were too big

I wore these shoes to church this morning and did a considerable amount of walking in them today. They were not as comfortable as my other lifestrides but these have a higher heel so that is expected. These are classy and stylish.

I really like these shoes! The vamp is perfect, the elastic across the arch held the sides together well, and they were quite comfortable to stand in all night. The only downside is that the zipper up the back was a little tricky. Easy to take off, a bit harder to put on.

The ball of the foot was the perfect width, but the rest of the shoe was too big. If I went smaller the toes would have been too tight. Also didn't love the look of the material in person. Probably could have made it work, but didn't want to spend $60 on something that was just meh.

I have a wider foot due to having bunions. Several people said this is such a comfortable shoe; however, let's face it, anything with a 3 or 4 inch heal is not going to be that comfortable. After walking around with them for a few minutes, my feet were starting to hurt. Unfortunately, they will be going back. The style is really great and they look so sharp on the foot.

I have a more narrow foot and often, life stride works. This shoe had way too much space within the toe box and the strap wasn't flush with my foot at all. The image online also made this shoe appear prettier than it is. The style and material reminds me of a nuns shoe...

I ordered a 9.5 wide in the cream colored fabric. My foot is a true 9.5 but because of my wide toe box I ordered a wide width. My foot was swimming around in these shoes, as they felt more like a 10wide. They definitely are cute, with a lower heel, but to much cushion.

I got a wide width, but the shoe still pinched my toes. I usually do ok with wide. The satin is very pretty. The throat is cut very low and there was too much toe cleavage for me. Sent it back.

Liked the overall look of this shoe, however it felt very cheaply made and was concerned about breaking the zipper when taking the shoe on and off. The heel of the shoe was also not very comfortable since it was against the back of the zipper.

I absolutely love this style and had a similar pair in blue suede several years ago. Sadly I had to return the pair in almond because the vamp was extremely tight and irritating to the top of my feet. I knew within 20 seconds that I would blister if I continued to wear them around the house. Thank goodness that Zappos makes returns so easy!

I am a plus size woman - the shoe is beautiful, but there is no arch support. It felt like the middle of the shoe was going to fall out when walking. This means the shoe is cheap and not worth the price.

Loved the black velvet. But they did not fit right. The right one was just a little big, so no problem. The left one was like it had been really stretched out. Too big and way too wide.

The straps did not lay flat on top of my feet. They bulged up and made me look like I had on clown shoes. They were overall too large even though I’ve worn the same size shoe since I’ve been 14.
