I hunted high and low for a flat, low-cut, pointed toe black boot and finally found these and am so happy with them. I am normally a size 8/8.5. Needed the 9 in these likely due to pointed toe. I really like the shaft height--they're not too high and tight like many current trendy booties. The cut of these booties looks great with jeans or skirts and have a cool-casual vibe. Can't wait to wear them with professional outfits. So far they are comfortable to walk around in, but there isn't a ton of arch support and the sole is pretty hard. Only concern is that the larger size and pointed toe makes my feet seem a little larger than normal (but I'm probably the only one that notices that!) and the sole is pretty slick, so I'll have to be careful on slippery floors.

I searched for a black boot style that could be worn with dress pants or jeans, classic style. Didn’t want a western look. I love the western look but already have a pair, I also like a pointed or almond toe. So this boot met all those requirements. I take a size 9 or 9-1/2 depending on the brand. I ordered both sizes. I kept the size 9. I can also fit my Birkenstocks insert in these boots that I use in all my shoes except pumps, of course. These were on sale, as well. Unfortunately for me the sale price was reduced even more after I received this pair, but good for anyone thinking about ordering this boot. I gave it 4 stars for comfort because I’ve only worn them once so fa for a short time. Hoping my feet (left foot) won’t hurt after wearing for a long time. I have a hard time finding extremely comfortable shoes. Overall, I recommend trying this boot.

Horribly unflattering! I wear a 9.5 regular width, but the lack of styling over the arch and the ball of your feet with this shoe really do you no favors. My feet look super-wide in these. Unfortunate, since they are very comfortable.
