Like a perfect fitting glove. The suede is super soft and luxurious. The style is casual but can be worn with skirts, dresses, pants, slouched or pulled straight up.

Flat, fitted and comfy

I LOVE this boot but had to return it. The leg is nice and slim and pretty much hugged my leg perfectly but the toe box is very shallow (my feet are avg/medium- not wide) so that taking a step was going to be painfully impossible. Some of Gentle Souls’ shoes have a nice padded footbed - this boot does not :( I ordered up a half size and still could not walk at all comfortably. It’s as if the footbed is a little too small and there isn’t enough fabric to construct the forefoot to be comfortable.

I like the boot and I think I'm keeping them. Like the gray color. Wish it had a small heel, wish it came in narrow. Seems versatile. Hope its water repellent, if it isn't I'll return them.

These boots are cute and fit my small calves well (but there is still plenty of stretch for larger calves). However, there is ZERO arch support. Putting in insoles made them quite comfy.

The fit and size were alright but the zipper made the ankle very bulky and the boot sort of collapsed around the ankle rather than fitting more smoothly as I had hoped.

Sadly, I'm returning this boot. Like many other reviews, this boot needs to be restyled with the stretch leg. It quickly rolls down to your ankle and I've only worn them in the house. I love the style but it just didn't work.

The shape and size are perfect EXCEPT I walk just a few steps and the boots slide down to my ankles. I have large calves so I need stretch boots. I wish the stretch material was more stiff and would stay up! But I love the design!

It fit well, but the edge of the top structured piece digs into the top of my foot when I walk. I know that it will rub and become a sore spot, so I am returning them. Too bad because the fit was great, especially around the calves. It's so rare to find a boot that doesn't make me look like I'm swimming in them.

Seemed to be well made and fit well. I have PNW calves (not slender) and they were just fine (there is a bit of stretch). However this is not really a winter boot and I should have known this from other reviews. So I had to return this boot.

I loved the look, but it felt like I was walking on cardboard.

I loved the fit, feel and style of these boots. The problem is that the second time I wore them the shafts would stay up. The shaft is just the stretch suede material and they wouldn't stay up. The shaft slid right down to my ankles; it was similar to having knee socks that kept falling down. And I have thin calves, most boots are too wide for my leg. It was too bad because I loved the slim look and how comfortable they were and they fit perfectly the first time I wore them.

They kind of made my feet look big, but loved the stretchy leg fabric. Good for those of us that have athletic calves. However, when I walked the material crimped down on my big toe joint causing a stabbing pain, so returning them.

The forefront of the foot of this boot is very shallow, making it feel too narrow. I've come to realize the problem begins with the actual footbed/sole is cut too small to be called a M width. My foot is not at all wide and I wear many different Gentle Souls boots and sandals so I'm familiar with the brand. this boot offers none of the footbed cushion that some other GS shoes do. I love that the calf is narrow enough that it wouldn't slide down my leg - but with every step I take when trying them on, comes pain - it's so little in the toe box that I wouldn't last ten minutes. Sorry to have to return.

poor quality. zipper was snagged and could not unzip to try on. would not recommend

I have slightly larger than normal calves so I was surprised that they felt so loose when I put them on. Then it felt like my feet were in large, clunky sneakers. Returning them back and going for something with a bit of heel.

The idea is a good one, but basically you have to peel them on and then peel them off again. Very very difficult to get them on because there is no substance to them. I understand now why they are so much less expensive than the other boots.
