This is a great backpack for the room ad pockets. However, after one week, my zipper broke. Vera Bradley happily replaced no problem. A year later - zipper has broke again. It is nylon so not sturdy, they probably need to put metal zippers. I loved it but will not buy another one due to the zipper issues. When asking customer service about it - they said well it has been after 60 days and actually not very helpful since had over a year.

I love this bag but.. First let me say this is the only backpack that takes into account that women have, well, breasts! The straps are comfortable and seem to be made for a women's body. Love the padded laptop pocket! However, both of my bags have had the zipper for the laptop section break, TWO! When I took it to the tailor (need a certain kind of sewing machine I was told) would cost about $50 to fix! Fifty dollars is a about 1/3 of the total price. When I called my local store the salesperson hinted that this happens after a couple of years??!! So now I am faced with 1) forking over $50 bring total amount of the back to almost $200, buying a new one and see what happens 2 year in or looking for another, cheaper backpack that I expect not to last long. My other Vera bags ( and I have more than few) have held up for years and years!

Something about the construction of the straps... The curve that connects the straps... it's different than the Campus. It really hurt my back. I commute to University and walk long distances on campus. Room-wise, I did fine with the Campus, after all. And it forces me to only carry what I absolutely need.

I really liked the backpack style and size. However giving it two stars because it attracts a lot of debris and I have to constantly lint roll the bag. Also, one of the zippers fell apart within two weeks of using the bag. Really disappointed in quality.

The color is darker than pictured on the website. I was disappointed there's no key ring attachment inside to keep your keys secured and easy access.

I'm so bummed! I upgraded my mom-bag to this because it has so much space and I needed more room for medical supplies for my son. But after I moved into it (not even with heavy things, barely half full) the straps were digging into my shoulders terribly. I drove an hour to get this specific backpack and had been encouraged to go with this style by Vera Bradley staff.but its not working. I wish there was an option to exchange for another style online.

I've been a Vera Bradley customer for 15+ years! I just replaced my old and worn backpack and the quality has really decreased. The fabrics isn't as soft or plush. I was pretty surprised and disappointed.

This is such a plain back for the amount of money and not even a normal size back pack.

I thought I was upgrading from a large regular backpack to this one that is more compartmentalized but NO. This is meant more for rolled cloths for a day. Definitely not for traveling. The two main compartments are super thin and if you use one it leaves no space in the other. Definitely super disappointed.

Going from an XL to regular size -- She has not started school yet, and I am already very concerned. Not happy that there is more of a size difference than I expected. BUT-- extremely upset about difference in less padded shoulder straps and lack of enough reinforced stitching. High school now requires a laptop toted to and from school daily, varying number of heavy books plus school supplies needed are all in this backpack-- even a lunchbox! It gets HEAVY!!!! XL backpack [better made], lasted freshman and sophomore years before stitching finally gave away severely and had to be trashed. If this one makes it through first semester I'll be surprised. From now on, no more girls desire brand BUT well made from a serious company for LESS money!

I bought this because I loved the color. However, I returned it because the fabric seem very thin and was not waterproof. I ended up buying a different version of this backpack in the quilted tight fabric.

This backpack is way too small to be considered an extra large backpack that's why I gave it two stars not worth the price for that small the backpack. I do have to say the material is really nice but other than that that's all I can say about this backpack.

I know this bag says XL and it does look XL on the website, but when I received the bag, it was nothing XL about it. I loved that it had so many pockets and different compartments, that was definitely a plus, but unfortunately, the overall bag was too small. Returned!

I love the backpack it has a lot of space and it is very confortable. The only think that I did not like was the way it was packaged, it was just thrown in a box without any plastic and when it was deliverd it got all wet because it was raining. This backpack was expensive enought to at least get good packaging.

These are not well made the zipper pulls fall off. I've lost 2 from a backpack that I've had for a month. Vera Bradley doesn't care too bad, so sorry we can't help you or replace the lost zipper pulls! They need to pay more attention to the quality of materials used. These are way over priced for what you get. My daughter really wanted this so I broke down to get this for her with the hope it would last at least 2 years. One month in and it has lost 2 zipper pulls that can't be replaced. I have a travel bag I got 25 years ago the quality today doesn't compare to the quality from the past. Very disappointed!

I have heard good things about Vera Bradley backpacks and how they last for a long time, but mine didn't . The hanger is broken after 5 months of use, the inner part water bottle holder got ripped after less then two months of usage, and the inner strap got ripped probably around 6 months of use. I am very disappointed, and wouldn't invest the amount of money I did into Vera Bradley again.

I had purchased this backpack in water bouquet, which I waited a while for because they sold out very quickly. They took a while to bring them back, so I guessed that the backpacks would still be made for quality use. But turns out I was wrong, within two months the backpack started to wear (not the color, but the material its self). Shortly it ripped and went from there and started to wear and rip in more places. The pockets were okay, the fault is they ripped as well. The part that makes me most furious is the zipper. It is the zipper for the computer slot. I did not have a lot in there a the time and it still managed to pop open, and it did this regularly. As a student if I lose a paper(s) that's very scary. For the cost of this backpack I should not have these problems. Yes the back pack is cute and spacious, but it is faulty.

The fabric lining in the front zipper pocket is too loose, so it catches in the zipper every time I use it. It is now completely stuck, so I will have to return this one. If the replacement does not have the same issue, then I give this product 4 stars due to the lack of sufficient padding on the bottom.
