The shoulder straps are reasonably padded and I really like the clip to help release pressure on the body. The overall compartments of the bag are huge and fit everything I need for both coaching and school. Water bottle pockets are huge! The water resistant material is also very nice, and I love the solid black quilted pattern of the bag. I would definitely buy this bag again.

Fantastic Quality; XL size is good for middle school age

Definitely a lovely bag! I love the comfort of the straps and how adjustable they are. It is such a cute fabric and I love it so much for this school year. The bag had so many compartments to carry your stuff and a laptop sleeve! I've had Vera Bradley bookbag ever since I was in middle school and they are absolutely amazing. They never have worn out or faded.

Purchased for granddaughter's birthday. I know she will love it!
