I use this type of shoe regularly for volunteering and in the gym. New Balance is not my favorite but the sale was to good to miss. The shoes are comfortable but I need a thicker sock to make them a really good fit

I have difficulty getting shoes that fit. I have ordered New Balance before and came back again. The fit was great. I had to take a slightly different color scheme than I wanted because they didn't have the exact color scheme in my size but I am very satisfied.

I like these shoes. The tops are a little higher than most walkers I've worn, so they might work for short hiking. My left foot has been sprained several times, and this higher top will hopefully keep the foot from turning. Definitely order one-half size up. I purchased comfort insoles for these shoes, and need every bit of space.

I had to replace my 854s and this seems close to them. After 15 years, the 854s developed holes in the toes, the leather separating from the stitches. I hope that the 608v5 lasts as long. The 608v5 is as comfortable as the 854s. I had to get a half size larger than usual to get a good fit in the toe box.

I use this product for work and am on my feet all day, I ordered 4e and they appear to be narrower than previous 4e 608s I have used and there appears to be a hard spot on the soul of right shoe.

I try to walk 3 miles a day shoe gets a little small at the end of my walk.

Overall a good fit an high quality product. Used primarily for my morning dog walking activities and were comfortable first time out.

This shoe is for everyday use, not for running or training. I like the style.

Ok, so 608 was my go to shoe for YEARS. Then New Balance tweaked something and this shoe became awful to wear for the hours a day I wear them (8 hours a day on my feet). So I switched to KSwiss for a few years. Then they too, tweaked their shoe and it became awful to wear. I decided to revisit the New Balance 608, because I wanted a wide shoe, which I had not had in the KSwiss. The shoe fits wonderfully! My feet have plenty of room without the shoe being floppy. So why the 4 stars? The insert is thin and offers no cushioning for being on your feet for hours. I purchased a separate pair of inserts made for shock absorbing and replaced the inserts that came with the 608s and now for the most part, my feet feel fine! The most comfortable that my feet have felt in a very very long time, so with new inserts, I will definitely become a regular customer again!

I went to 6 stores looking for my usual NB shoe and there was very little selection. Apparently MX519WG2 13 D is no longer available. I tried on a D width and thought it would be too narrow and ordered the 2E. Now that it is broken in, it's clear that it will be too wide. I should have ordered the D and dealt with it until they were broken in. Stores have limited selection and no one to assist. When you do find someone all they say is that they can order for you. I can do that.

The new version does not seem as stable as the last version I purchased. Time will tell if it responds as well as before.

I would keep buying this sneaker over and over again. For my job I need all black, and they are perfect.

Concerned about durability of external loops for shoe laces. So far, so good. We shall see for how long!

Yes, and I enjoy both my new pairs of 608's the white and the black there used for daily wear and walking.

I bought these to play tennis in. I have used 608's before and liked them. This version seems a little less stable than the last ones I had. In the past the shoe has worked well for me but it does ware out quickly. The shoe I liked the best was the 608 but the the new version of the 608 has changed..

Nice shoe, very attractive and comfortable, fits well. Not up to the standards of the original 928 shoe, but about half the price. Downside, made outside the USA, but at least it's not made in China.

I purchased the 608 for serious walking. So far, they have been slow to break in. They are very stiff. I wanted a supportive shoe with good stability because I have a prosthetic right foot after military service injury and the 608 has met this need. I have worn them six times for a total of about twenty hours and about thirty miles and they are starting to get flexible, but no where near as quickly as I had hoped. They fit great and are very well made and do look good. I just hope they will flex a bit more and become a more comfortable all day shoe.

I like these sneakers, they are comfortable, flexible, and believed they were stylish. Then I was informed that these are "Dad Sneakers". Then my daughter showed me some memes that are now forever stuck to this type of sneaker. My favorite meme is the caption stating; "If the man on the grill is not wearing these sneakers, I'm not eating!" Funny, I know; especially the fact that everyone that ate from my grill loves the food. So if your buying these sneakers you are either a grilling dad or your buying them for one. Why are shoe laces so long? They would be fine at 12" shorter

These are used for fitness walking. I have a narrow foot and am glad I can get these in a Wms 7 Narrow. I wish they were available in more colors. These are comfortable but since they leather take a bit to break in. But were comfortable to wear out of the box. They are not super cushy so I add an insert for more arch support. They perform as needed.

very comfortable from moment I slipped this shoe on. Nice comfortable support especially in arch . Great for trail and road walking
