I needed a new pair. My last NB lasted at least 7-8 years. this time I ordered wide width due to swelling of my leg. They fit fine, but still a little tight around the toe area.

I'm happy with this product model so far, but I am still breaking them in. But so far so good!

I use the 608's for cross training only. Had to cut the insole in half & insert my Birkenstock Birko Balance arch supports as there is no "built in arch". I've been wearing the 857 series for years & thought I'd give these a try. I'd read they would be good for those with high arches & supinate. They are quite comfortable but the sole is very light weight & don't have much support.

Just what I expected, a great shoe. The fit is good but is runs a little wide at the heel.

Sorry you do not offer the grey suede. So I purchased the black. I have been a 608 fan for manny years.

The 608 V5 will be a general wear product but not on a daily basis. Like the 608 V4s, they provide comfort but more important, support. These seem to be a bit wider than the 608 V4 but not so much that my foot moves a lot in the footbed. For daily use, I don't anticipate a problem, but if I were to use these for weight or cross training, it might be different - especially if side loading with lateral bounds and such. The soles are fairly skid resistant on 'normal' surfaces, too!

Everyday shoe. Seems crazy that I am instructed to write more as if I am wearing every day that should say it all...

Great looking shoe , but it was too small even though I ordered my correct shoe size.

Everything about this pair of shoes meets the quality and feel of other New Balance Shoes that were purchased.

I am using these sneakers at work with casual. They are a little narrow towards front compared to the other colors.

Great comfort and fit perfectly as always. Just wish the price was better.

Good fit, comfortable for working out and wears well. Bought Wide, which was good choice. Holds up well, plenty long shoelaces! Sneaker is a little heavy if using just for walking,

Very happy with my 608 sneakers, good fit and support!

I have been wearing these sneakers for quite a while and until this pair, was very happy. I don't know what happened with this pair, but the feel more like cardboard glued together than the quality material I am used to. I will be trying another pair and hope that the quality is better.

I bought these shoes as a gift for my husband. He needs good walking sneaks and usually wears the 840 sneakers but these were on sale.

I love NB sneakers, but I'm the kind of guy who likes to touch, feel and try on things that I'm buying. I've worn NB for the last 40 years, but I find that a 7/12 Wide is not the same in all models. A double E is too wide in this particular model. I usually have to try on several pairs at the store till I have a 7 1/2 wide that fits properly. Otherwise NB is still No. 1 in my book.

I use this type of shoe regularly for volunteering and in the gym. New Balance is not my favorite but the sale was to good to miss. The shoes are comfortable but I need a thicker sock to make them a really good fit

I have difficulty getting shoes that fit. I have ordered New Balance before and came back again. The fit was great. I had to take a slightly different color scheme than I wanted because they didn't have the exact color scheme in my size but I am very satisfied.

I like these shoes. The tops are a little higher than most walkers I've worn, so they might work for short hiking. My left foot has been sprained several times, and this higher top will hopefully keep the foot from turning. Definitely order one-half size up. I purchased comfort insoles for these shoes, and need every bit of space.

I had to replace my 854s and this seems close to them. After 15 years, the 854s developed holes in the toes, the leather separating from the stitches. I hope that the 608v5 lasts as long. The 608v5 is as comfortable as the 854s. I had to get a half size larger than usual to get a good fit in the toe box.
