I don't live in New Balance sneakers. I also own several pairs of New Balance walking shoes. I've worn other brands I like pretty well, but I've also worn some I didn't. Wore one very popular brand for a month and had plantar fasciitis for 6 months afterward. Not saying it was a bad shoe, just not suited to my feet. 623s are my mainstay, thought I'd give this model a try. So now I have two mainstays. I like the consistency of the brand--so far, if one model feels good, every other style in that size has also felt good. I'm not giving up my regular retailer, but buying online is also a nice convenience.

Been wearing NB 608's for several years and each year the subtle improvements to the shoe has been positive improvements.
I'll keep using 608s as long as NB makes them, very comfortable and good looking shoe

I ordered these for my husband as he has been a true fan of NB 608s. He wears a EE width which has not been available in stores. When I suggested ordering them from Zappos, he was skeptical but when they arrived less than a week later, and fit to a “T”, well, let’s just say he’ll be ordering his replacement pairs from Zappos going forward! Thank you, Zappos, for saving this guy from having to settle for a less than perfect fit!
