These 501s in Thrifted and Gifted are great for those of us with hourglass/curvy figures. There's a bit more room in the thigh and the waist is higher and smaller than 501s of old. These are high waist jeans, which I'm not quite used to. Thrifted and Gifted also has a little stretch, which I like. Wish they also came in 34" inseam, but very happy to finally find a pair of Levis that fit.

According to the tag: 501 Women's Original. Signature button fly. High rise, Straight leg. Fitted through the hip and thigh. Color - Thrifted and Gifted. So what do I think? I love this fit and the fabric. I bought a 28 waist even though I'm a 29 in measurement actuality. I was banking on that 1% elastane giving a tiny bit of stretch, and it paid off. The material is substantial. These look and feel high quality. The 32" inseam is perfect on my 5'9" frame. I also love Levi's sustainability initiative. I'm so happy with this purchase!

These are great pants, just a bit too high for me. I'm 5'6" and 130lbs and the 26 fit great except for the front rise. They were about 1in above my belly button and that's too high for me. I normally wear a 27 in most pants including Levi's 721's. These are nice and sturdy. I prefer the feel of jeans mostly made of cotton and these felt great!

I have many beautiful designer jeans but these are the classic. I'm 5'4" 120 and 501s in 26x30 are a perfect comfy fit. Love rigid denim; these will wear beautifully and last till they fall to shreads -- and isn't that what we love about jeans? They go with everything and you can wear them anywhere in the world.

I absolutely love these!! I have been looking for jeans this style for the longest and these are fit amazing and look great. They are true to size. I am 5’3’’ smaller waist but thicker thighs and they look great on.

I first saw a similar pair in Barneys' Fall catalogue - for almost 10x of what they are selling for here!! I decided to go on Zappos and found these! They are exactly what I have been searching for -- straight but not "too straight" as in they don't make legs look like columns. The high waist sits all the way at the natural waist and creates nice long legs and balanced proportions. They fit both waist and hips nicely. The material is nice and sturdy just like vintage 501s, and the added stretch is the perfect amount to make them comfortable too. I couldn't be happier: it's the middle of summer and I have already found my go-to staple for Fall/Winter!!

The size was true and perfect. The color was as expected. I may need to buy more!

I have always loved the look of Levi 501s. These jeans have a little stretch but please put more spandex to make them even more comfortable!

Photos on the site do not show that the pants have an unfinished hem. And, unfortunately, it's not a look I favor.

I was SO sad about these. I am a 28 in non-stretch denim, so I ordered my regular size since I didn't see I review that they ran super small like I had for the Wedgie (I ordered a 29 in the wedgie and it fit like a dream) I got them up over my hips, but I couldn't come anywhere near buttoning them. They were 2 inches too small through the pelvis and waist. I'd like to think it's because my glutes are on point from squatting but I've never had this problem with Levi's before, so maybe it's just this pair? Also, the wash was a kind of muddy color IRL and not super attractive. Definitely not the classic 501 wash I was hoping for. Anyway, they're going back.

Color & material of the jeans was good however the button fly closure was very inconvenient and difficult. I would stick only to zippered fly closures from now on. Returned the jeans.

Pros: The denim feels very durable. The inseam is the perfect length to wear the jeans cuffed or uncuffed without showing too much ankle or dragging on the ground (I'm 5'6"). The dark wash is fairly solid in color and doesn't look distressed or patchy. Cons: There's almost no stretch, which is what I prefer, but unfortunately these jeans were just too tight around my thighs (so tight it looked like I was wearing skinny jeans from the knees up). There was a bit of a gap at the back of the waistband, so I don't think I could size up. The buttonholes on the button fly were also very small, and the back pockets were awkwardly low.

I got the thrifted and gifted color, and squatted down to do something and the hole in the knee totally ripped all the way. So now there is a huge hole in the knee and I don't wear them out in public. I like the distressed look, but the distressing placement on these jeans is in a bad place, in my opinion. They're loose enough that you should be able to do that move where you grab them at the upper thighs and hike them up a little and kind of pinch them as you squat down, and that would avoid them ripping all the way out at the knee because it would move the hole to above your knee. So learn from my mistake if you get the thrifted and gifted, and be sure to do the hike and pinch... otherwise you too will have a new pair of working around the house jeans with a giant blow out in the knee.

Crappy stretch pants, not 100% cotton as stated.

not the same jeans in photo. the photo on the website shows a hemmed seem at the bottom of the pant leg. I received a raw torn hem. false advertising!
