Sleek, but not tight! I'm typically 10M (with wide toe box, flat foot, thin heel) and I ordered a 10M, which felt rather roomy (you may want to size down esp if you're narrow). I'm keeping them as they're still secure to wear because of the snug ankle and I like the looseness on the foot. The extra room is welcome not just for comfort, but because it seems like it will be able to accommodate a thick sock or a gel insole. The gel insole may be a good idea as the sole is very thin and no cushion at all. So while it fits comfortably, probably not great for super long walks. And due to the thin sole, probably not long-lasting either. But if you want a comfortable but sleek boot, they're great. I like them! Oh, and if you can't tell from the picture, they're basically a sock-boot.
