Five stars for the Carbon Glow and 2 stars for the Slate Morning. Overall, these jeans are fantastic. They're very comfortable; the higher waist is flattering; they have a classic straight leg cut that is slightly slimmer than usual straight leg cuts, which I like; they're true to size, form fitting, flattering on the butt, very fitted but don't look painted on, soft, and very stretchy while still holding their shape through multiple wearings. The denim is a medium weight and I feel like they will last much longer than some of the thinner denim fabrics sold by other manufacturers. The problem is quality control. The Carbon Glow was perfect so I ordered the Slate Morning, but the inner left leg seam was so twisted that from the knee down, the seam ran almost centered down the front of my leg. I really like these jeans, so I tried FOUR (4!!) different pair in the Slate Morning from different sources and ALL of them had the same issue, some worse than others. Hopefully, the defect is limited to a particular batch and size. I ordered the 27 with a 30" inseam. If you like the Slate Blue, and if that's your size, avoid them unless you don't mind the lower left leg seam going down the FRONT of your lower leg. For reference, I'm 5'3", 125 lbs, 28" waist and 36" hips and the 27 (size 4) fit perfectly. Also note that the different colors have different fabric content, so the fit may not always be the same and the feel of the fabric will differ as well. The Slate Morning was softer and had more stretch than the Carbon Glow. I preferred the CG, but like the fit of the 724 style enough to be okay with the SM had I been able to find a pair with a straight seam.

Overall the Levi's Women's 724 High-Rise Straight jeans fit as described. They fit fine, looked ok from the front, but rear pockets on the ones I received where quite a bit larger than model photographed. As a result, not very flattering from the back.

The Cast Shadows color was very nice and dark. The 32 inseam was not true and was longer than what I am use to in jeans. These are a high rise cut, but too slim and tight in the thigh.

I actually returned them for 2 reasons size ran big and the fabric was not as sturdy as I wanted. More a fashion jean than a work jean.

Length is way off so I measured and the "30 inch" inseam is only 28 inches! Where's your quality control Levi's? This would have been a great pair of jeans.

super comfy and good fit. Wore the hell out of them for a year and now I'm buying a new pair, though I will continue to wear these ones.

Love these jeans. The fit of jeans is very subjectice, of course. Every body is different. I have short legs, a waist, curvy bod. 5'5" 168# and these are great for me.

At last! Deep front pockets instead of girl pockets in a slim jean! I am 5'0" tall 103 lbs. I got size 26. These Levi's 724 High Rise Straight fit me slim in the thighs and knees (more like the original French Dressing cut - but with real pockets) and I can still actually get my foot through the leg opening. Below the knee is still slim but not too tight around my calves. I'd say there's about an inch or so room around my calves and 3-4" extra room at the ankle, on me. I got the 30" so there is some scrunch around the ankle for me. The waist is not too tight and comes up nice and high. No hint of muffin top

Yay Levi's finally put real pockets in the front! I'm 5'0" 103 lbs and the size 26 x 30 I think fits great, if you're good with a little scrunch at the bottom of the leg. Haven't washed yet. The high rise really is high rise and comfortable. There's a bit more cotton than some stretch jeans in the colors I ordered. The legs are slim enough around the thighs and knees, not baggy there like so many jeans on me. I can actually get my foot through the bottom so the leg opening is bigger than the skinnies, which are always way too tight if you have any calf muscles. These aren't perfect but I am so very tired of returning jeans I'm keeping them. I've been looking for jeans like this in GREY. Also, ideally with cargo pockets not too huge but deep enough for my iphone and high enough on the leg and not down around my knees like so many "cargo" pants. I'll keep looking. But for style and fit, these work for me.

I love these jeans! They fit perfectly, and the style is very flattering. Levi quality denim is always a great feel. Just wish they came in a shorter length because I must shorten them 3 inches to fit my 5-foot frame.

I have a hard time finding pants that fit me just right...these are perfect! And sooo comfortable! I will be buying another pair...and always from Zappos!

I ordered these for my wife in 30 long. She is 5’10” 155 lb. She liked the straight leg classic fit, but they were out of stock so we thought we’d try these. Happy we did. They fit great— even better than the classic fit straight leg. The color was good too— not too faded or dark.

I am 5'9", #147 and got the 29x32. The fit is the best I have ever had. So happy with the high rise so I not always pulling them up and the real bonus to me, as one who tries to not carry a purse, is that the front pocket can easily carry my phone (wallet). The fit is comfortable with plenty of stretch. They look and feel great.

A beautiful pair of Levi’s, I have the very dark wash, with a beautiful fit. OK to size down because there is quite a bit of stretch to them. They are a nice in between of straight and skinny. I bought both the short and the regular, one for sneakers and running around town, the longer one might work very well with a heel.
