These boots work very well for me. Though the rest of me is not narrow, my calves are in the extreme, and these boots fit then nicely. If you have wider calves, this boot will not be for you. The round heel is no less comfortable than a traditional heel, which was a concern. Very classy and stylish looking. If I were designing the boot, I'd put a little less bag in the ankle, square off the toe, and change the leather sole out for a man-made one, but these are just issues of personal preference. I would have gotten a second pair in the other color if my size had been available.

I wasn’t crazy about the round heel and the color had too much green for me (more of an olive tint than taupe). But the fit and comfort were ok - so if you want an Olive-y taupe it would be great.

This boot is amazing! The boot runs narrow and slim. I have small calves and I am always searching for a boot that does not gap....I finally found it! This is not the boot for you if you have large calves. I have received numerous comments on the boot, they are very sleek. Could not be happier!

I'm having a hard time believing that these are suede; there's a visible fabric pattern that makes it seem like they're actually microfiber. The boot is an elegant shape and very light. I'm usually an 8.5 and the 8.5 felt too long, but the width was good. The shaft is snug but not constricting on my average calves, but too tight to wear skinny jeans underneath. Overall, a pretty boot.
